Blugirl Jus de Fleurs ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 16 May 2011 13 Comments

Blugirl Jus de Fleurs by Blumarine

Blugirl, the youth-oriented line from Blumarine, will launch their second fragrance for women, Jus de Fleurs, this month. Jus de Fleurs is a fruity floral, and follows last year's Jus No. 1.

Jus de Fleurs was developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson; notes include bergamot, guava, gardenia, orange blossom, frangipani, sandalwood, vanilla and musk.

Blugirl Jus de Fleurs will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and matching body products.

since I’m heaping criticisms upon bottles this morning: this one looks like a bottle of cheap bubble bath.

I know , I know…I sound all cranky, but I’m not, really I’m not! I’m actually happy it’s not raining (for once) although it’s still pretty darn cold. and…..wait for it…… I saw the SUN ! briefly, but it was there….I recognized it because it was NOT gray…..

I’ll admit to being cranky – The temps hit 90 about a week and a half ago and all of our bushes and trees bloomed. Then awful storms came through last week and said blossoms were soaked, blown off, and left for dead in the grass. I only got to enjoy the scents of spring for two days. This is the second year this has happened (consecutively) and I’m declaring it completely unacceptable.

I hear ya! this is the first year of the last five that my Kwanzan Cherry tree has blossomed! every year it buds up then we have a couple of hard frosts and I don’t see a single ruffly pink blossom! This year I have blossoms —they just started opening yesterday….and the temps started to drop….yikes! but it didn’t fall below freezing. Of course we’ve had days and days of rain, but soggy blossoms are better than none at all :(

I almost forgot my comment about the perfume…I agree it looks cheap. It would be cute for a little girl though.

I second the trashy bubble-bath bottle! But if it smelt nice I would still give it to a 5 year old. Hey, if it smelt really nice I’d buy it for me since I’m not too concerned with bottles, though I appreciate a nice one…

It’s basically the same bottle as Jus No 1, but that one looked much better to me…agree this one looks like bubblebath for a little girl.

Wow..cheap. I’m not familiar with this brand but the bottle is worse than Avon’s offerings.

The bottle looks Avon-y, and the scent notes remind me of Victoria Secret Heavenly- Angel- Sexy- Thing-Dare-Noir. Why not make good perfume for young women – train ’em right?

“Flower Juice”? What the hell kind of a name is that for a scent?

It doesn’t even sound better in French. It’s just stupid.

honestly… that bottle is just TACKY! like something outta Peg Bundy’s Toilette! UGH! Just. DRECK-I-TUDE! The FRAGRANCE on the other hand sounds somewhat nice… Sunny and Tropical and Lush… But it’s kinda hard to want to smell it in that bottle!
