Favorite beach fragrance – Bobbi Brown Beach! Already took a beach vacation – Aruba – a few weeks ago (thanks to my DH earning an incentive at work…ahhhhh…awesome to run away to Caribbean in the middle of February!!!).
Live in the US.
I actually haven’t actively sunbathed since I was probably 11. I use Lancome sunscreen though. Summer beach plans are St Thomas where we have a condo. Usually this results in me sitting by the pool or lagoon under an umbrella with a frozen cocktail and doing nothing for a week.
Thanks!
I live in the US.
Favorite suntan-oil-ish scents are:
1) Bond No. 9’s Fire Island
2) Bobbi Brown’s Beach
Favorite suncreeen:
1) Olay Complete SPF 15 (oddly enough, the fragrance-free version!)
2) Clinique’s Superdefense SPF 25 (in the summer months)
No plans for a beach vacation but will be back in the South of France in late August/early September. Discovered this part of France last year and I’d promised myself to go back. Simply beautiful.
Thanks, Robin!
I live in the US and would love the Bronze Goddess’s. I haven’t ever been lucky enough to smell either but based upon the notes and wonderful review I know that I’d love them!
My favorite sunscreen is: La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Lait SPF. It is non-comedogenic and is supposed to have extra wrinke fighting properties. Whether is does or not it is too early to tell but it smells lovely and works great!
Hi Robin, I live in the US.
My favorite is Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion SPF 60+ but I start putting Jergens Natural Glow Face Moisturizer (Medium/Tan) on around May with Jergens Natural Glow Firming Moisturizer on my body so I have a nice, toasted bronze look for summer. It looks natural and doesn’t make me break out.
My favorite fragrance is of course Bronze Goddess!
And it’s too chilly by the water here in Washington for the most part but I still love to hang out in Richmond Beach in Edmonds where I was born. Brings back feel good memories of being little every summer. Thanks for the draw!
I live in the U.S.; you may use my e-mail address and . . .
My dermatologist insists that my favorite sunscreen be any complete sun block. As zinc is so unattractive and smells so wretched, I find I’m more compliant when I use Almay’s daily moisturizer with sunscreen.
I live in the US, and my favorite suntan-oil-ish fragrance is without a doubt Comptoir Sud Pacifique’s Coco Extreme: coconut, coconut, and a little coconut to go with that coconut 🙂 My favorite sunscreen is Hawaiian Tropic’s Sheer Touch lotion spf50: it’s light but tenacious, we can stay out all day every day with this stuff on. And we will be joining my fabulous sister and her hubby at Kiawah Island late this summer for vacation!
I live in the US, and my favorite sunscreen is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55, and I also always use a chapstick with SPF, I like Blistex the best, because the flavor isnot as weird as the others.
I’m an alabaster-skinned red head, so no beach vacations for me….I’ll have to hope to win my beach vacation in a bottle!….but I love the scent of the original Coppertone suntan lotion.
I live in the US
My favorite beach spot has to be Marco Island, Florida… close, less crowded, and fun water sports! Perfect for a long weekend…
As far as sunscreen, I just stick with the simple Banana Boat SPF30.
Thank you!!
I live in the U.S. My dream beach vacation would be on one of the Caribbean islands, but my 2011 beach vacation will probably be at a B&B in one of the beach towns of Maine.
I live in the US and I can’t help but answer all three questions!
1. CB I hate perfume “At the Beach 1966”
2. I use Copertone Sport – it isn’t greasy and sinks right in.
3. Martha’s Vineyard. We go in the summer time. It is a great little island off the coast of Cape Cod Mass. The island is very eccletic and welcomes all types of people!
l live in the U.S.
Beach spot fave Mauna Kea on the Big Island.
Sunscreen: Clarins
You have my permission to use the email address in my account if I win!
Thank you.
I live in the US.
BG is actually my favorite beach scent- I just bought it unsniffed a couple of weeks ago and is already about 1/8 gone- I am in love.
I live in the US.
My favorite suntan-oil-ish fragrance is Azuree Soleil.
I live in the U.S.
Favorite beach fragrance smell – Bobbi Brown Beach. But it fades quickly on my skin, so I have never bought it.
I live in the US and thanks for the opportunity to win these, robin. 🙂
I’m still on a quest to find the perfect beach in a bottle fragrance though Fire Island comes close for me, and some of the Escada LEs remind me of tropical themed drinks so I wear them during the summer a lot as well. My fave sunscreen at the moment is Coola Plumeria or Mango. It’s all natural and does the best job it can, though I’m determined to burn and peel if in the sun for too long no matter what I’m wearing.
We’ll probably go out to South Haven a few times this summer where there are some lovely beaches off Lake Michigan. I just bring a beach umbrella and the kids love the waves. 🙂
I live in the US. My favorite beach-y fragrance is Bronze Goddess!
I live in the US. I’ll do all three!
a) my favorite suntan-oil-ish fragrance is probably Bronze Goddess, although I only have the Body Oil, due to me not reading descriptions carefully on ebay!
b) my favorite sunscreen was the Bain de Soleil orange gelee, spf 4. Oh yes, smelled sooooooooooooo good. And provided oh so much protection!
c) my plans for a beach vacation in 2011 already happened! Went to Zihuatanejo, Mexico in January for our belated honeymoon. It was truly amazing.
I live in the US. My favorite sunscreen is zinka colored nosecoat. I wore it in neon stripes on my nose and cheeks when I was a little girl in the early 90’s. So fun!
I’ve been lurking this website for a long time and this contest inspired me to finally register/comment!!
I live in the U.S.
The original Tom Ford Azuree Soleil is still my favorite summer/beachy scent!
I live in the US! Of the ones I’ve tried, BG is my favorite beachy scent, so I’d love to win these. Alas, I can only dream of beach vacations (or any vacations)… not in a single mom’s budget. And I never seem to find time to be outdoors, so no sunscreen for me.
I live in the US.
Fave sunscreen “commercial” and sunscreen back in the early to mid 1980’s was “Bain de Soleil”. Loved that stuff. 🙂
Here’s the original commercial from 1983… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIICARbcYpI
~Dawn
Ooh, I’d love to win this
1. I live in the USofA
2. I’m in the Ban de Soleil crowd. How I adored that orange stuff. And I remember the perfect white strapless suit on that bronze model. Now, of course, my skin shows the foolishness of it all. Now I’m into Mustella zinc oxide-based sun protection for my face and hands.
3. This year I’m saving to go back to Hawaii. I’ve been several times, but the last couple of years have been buget oopses and couldn’t afford it. My favorite beach is Hapuna Beach on the Big Island (where the Kilauea volcano has just awakened and it spouting 65 ft plumes of lava from the Pu’u O’o vent. ! I hope it continues until my September trip)
I live in the U.S.
We’re at the beach now — Cocoa Beach — and loving Escale de Portofino for these gorgeous sunny days!
Heading down to Islamorada at the end of the month with Portofino, Bronze Goddess and Fire Island coming along with me.
I live in the US.
My favorite Suntan Frag: Bronze Goddess! Do not have a bottle, though. It has just been on my wish list for a while. I like Hawaiian Tropic Suntan lotion even though I know that is looked-down-upon 🙂
I’m going to the Bahamas in May, but I am going there to work. I’m sure I’ll get to spend a little time on the beach, though.
Last summer I went looking for a suntan lotion that would orfactorily take me back childhood summers at the beach. Hawaiian Tropic sheer touch lotion was the winner for me, and I plan to use it again this summer — in the US, where I live. 🙂
I smelled Bronze Goddess for the first time on my recent trip to Houston, and it’s so delightful!
Last year my husband and I celebrated our anniversary by spending a week at the beach; however this year we’re spending it at a cabin on the river. Bronze Goddess will smell great at the cabin! 😉
I live in the US, and you have permission to use my email address!
I live in the U.S.!
When I was a kid my friends and I would slather on Banana Boat tanning oil, lay out, and burn ourselves black. I wouldn’t recommend it as a sunscreen, but I remember I loved the smell of it, it was so deliciously coconut!
My favorite sunscreen is probably Shiseido, in the teal bottle with the orange cap. It works well, even though it does funny things to your skin.
No beach plans as of yet! I’ll have to remedy that. I’m sure I’ll play hooky a day or two from work and go to Malibu, as I do every year.
I live in the U.S.
Aside from the scent of Coppertone itself, my favorite “suntan oil” scent is Smell Bent’s St. Tropez-Dispenser. It really does smell like you’re at the beach and just reapplied your sunscreen; it even has the scent of the aloe vera you’re going to smear on your sunburn when you get home that afternoon!
Sunscreen never smells as good as tanning lotion and oil did …
I live in the US.
Don’t have a favorite suntan oil-ish fragrance yet, but the notes for these sound lovely.
I love any of the sunscreens Kiss My Face makes… they all smell so good and have natural ingredients in them!
No beach vacations planned this year… but I am moving to Virginia Beach at the end of the month, so I will be at the beach a lot 🙂
I live in the US.
My favorite suntan-oil-type fragrance is (was, I think, I haven’t seen it in the brochure for a while 🙁 ) Avon Naturals Banana and Coconut Milk. Since it’s a bath & body type product, it keeps the fragrance light and not too sweet or heavy.
My favorite sunscreens are Olay Complete Sensitive Skin for my face, and Neutrogena Chemical Free for my hands and body. I keep a bottle of that next to my keys!
No beach plans for me – the sun is not my friend!!!
I live in the U.S. and have been using Bronze Goddess, the Body Oil Spray for years and my bottle has one corner left! My annual summer plan always including a few weeks in Cape Cod, MA with friends and family. You have my permission to use my email address.
I live in the US! I love Bronze Goddess and am down to about 1/4 bottle- from spraying lavishly in the summer!
We are heading to Galveston for Spring Break- can’t say it is my favorite beach- I have too many more to visit before I make up my mind on that one! Zuma Beach is pretty nice tho. And South Padre 🙂
I live in the US.
I am always looking for the PERFECT beach scent.
I have tried the Micheal Kors scents, but so far, nothing has been just right.
I use La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 on my face and neck. I use any old thing lying around for the rest of me!!
Thanks for the drawing, Robin.
Hi Robin,
I live in the U.S.
I love the smell of Coppertone and the scent of the long-departed Bain de Soleil after sun soap.
thanks for sharing your stuff!
I live in the USA. California beaches here I come.
I live in the US. My favorite suntan-oil fragrance? The original Coppertone, of course! No more lying-on-the-sand vacations for me, though – I have to keep my Irish skin out of the sun. My recent fave sunblock (Coppertone NutraShield 70+ SPF) has been discontinued, darn ’em. Coppertone Sport is pretty good – and has the original scent! – but it only goes to 50 SPF.
I live in the USA.
When I was younger, I did sunbathe and Bain de Soliel was my poison. Now that I know about the dangers of UVA and UVB, I use more powerful sunscreens. Face, almost every day, is Roche Possay Anthelios. If there’s serious sun out, I’m in a tank or short sleeved get-up and cover my arms and chest with a serious, sticky, un-fun concoction made by Coppertone. Skin cancer is no fun, for making up for what I loose in scent by using hard-core sunscreens can be made up for with a spritz of EL’s happy sunscreen scents.
I also own CB’s 1966 at the Beach, which last summer I layered with Calandre 🙂
I live in the US and my favorite sunscreen is Shiseido’s Ultimate Sun Protection Cream, it’s smells rather like shiso!
I live in the US.
While not typically a beach scent, the fragrance that reminds me of one glorious summer vacation is YSL’s Champagne (now Yvresse.) It was 1994 and I purchased the EDT as a graduation present for myself. I spent a blissful week in Santa Barbara, enjoying the color and sea air as it interlaced with my new perfume.
For a beach vacation this year, we’ll likely head to Monterey Bay and take in the aquarium, then cross over to Santa Cruz and ride the Giant Dipper, just like my grandparents did in the 1920s.
I live in the U.S.A.
My favourite sunscreen is Panama Jack SPF20, it has a light pleasant scent that fades completely so it doesn’t compete with any other scent I’m wearing.
Hello, I live in the US.
My favorite sunscreen is Clarins SPF 30 for sensitive skin and my beach scent is recently TMugler Womanity.
I live in the US, and my wife would love Bronze Goddess.
I don’t really like to be out in the sun; my wife uses the highest-SPF Neutrogena sunscreen when it gets sunny… which, right now, in Maine, seems like it never will.
I live in the US, (Miami Beach, so no beach vacation for me I want to go somewhere cool in the summer!)
When I do remember to wear sunscreen (hanging head in shame) my favorite sunscreen is La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Lait SPF … goes on very lightly and blends in easily. Thanks, Robin!
I live in the US
My favorite beach scent – Monoi de Tiare oil. Sunscreen: Coppertone has a new-ish high SPF zinc formula for sensitive skin – it’s effective and inexpensive (there’s a formula for face and body, but the ingredients are identical so I use the body stuff on my face). I will be sure to spend some time on the beach in south west Michigan this summer!
I live in the US.
The smell I most associate with laying out in the summer is Johnson’s Baby Oil…..it was the only way to achieve a (cancer inducing) golden/red tan that I SO desired in the ’80’s…..thank goodness no side effects of my ignorant youth thus far.
As far as “beachy” vacations – I’ll either be at the Dog Beach (with Miss Gypsy) in Long Beach or on the Central Coast in California….a cabin near the water in Cambria and the smell of wet fur – what could be better then that?
Thanks for the chance to win these – just smelled them last night at Macy’s and started to drool….
Thank you for the contest! I live in the US. My favorite beachy fragrance is Creed Virgin Island Water.
Beaching it up on the Oregon coast isn’t much of a sunscreen event, so a hat suffices. However, I like to wear L’Heure Bleue for trips to the coast, like the camping one I’ve got planned for Memorial Day.
Maybe it’s irrational, but as a camper I worry that strong fruity or flowery smells might attract bugs so I apply sparingly.
I live in the US and my favorite sunscreen is LaRoche Posay Anthelios XL . I haven’t worn a beachy scent in ages, though I did like Satellite’s Ipanema quite a bit (pretty color, too).
I never take beach vacations unless it’s in the winter – and I haven’t had an actual beach vacation in so long….I don’t even know if I have a swimsuit that fits (and if it did, would the Ick Police come and take me away for scaring the horses? LOL!)
xo
I live in the U.S. My favorite sun-tan oil scent is Bronze Goddess, and my favorite non-sun-tan oil beachy scent is Fleurs de Sel. That’s more of a cool, bracing beach scent, not the lolling on the beach kind.
I live in the US.
And it seems like I am missing out on good things in life, because I don’t know many beach scents, don’t use any sun tan lotion (I use a sun block for kids — does that count? somehow I think it doesn’t!) and I, sniff, sniff, sniff, plan no vacation in 2011. Boo hoo.
Can I have these intriguing Estee Lauder’s bottles then? 🙂
The closest thing I have to a beach fragrance is Un Jardin Sur le Nil.
I live in the US. +1 for Bobbi Brown Beach!
I love all kinds of beach scents… Bond Fire Island, Annick Goutal Songes, Hermes Eau de Merveilles, Andre Gas Ensoleille Moi. And of course Bronze Goddess! Thanks for another great giveaway.
I live in the US.
C. The Chief Economist in my household says no vacation this year. 🙁 If I’m lucky I’ll find time to visit the local shores of Lake Michigan during the brief window between the weather warming up and the beach being closed for E. Coli. (seriously, this happens every year. and no, I wouldn’t even dip a toe in that water at any time.)
I live in the US and my favorite sunblock is Coppertone Sport. This stuff will not be eaten off by the surf and frolic all you want in the ocean.
Speaking of the Ocean, we plan on spending 2 glorious weeks in PortAransas TX! I cannot wait to veg out and eat shrimp until I pop!
I do live in the US. My plans for a beach vacation in 2011: Ogunquit, Maine, of course: where Broadway meets the beach !
I live in the US and sure you can use my email!
Beach plans? We’re on the Gulf Coast of Florida so my plans are to get to the beach more this spring. Favorite face sunblock: Anessa Perfect Mild which I have to buy online since it’s not sold here for some reason. Wears like iron.
I live in the US and you can use my email address in your files to notify me if I win. Bronze Goddess is my favorite beachy scent.
I live in the US and Bronze Goddess & Monyette Paris are my favorite beachy scents. I like the sweetness of MP’s take on gardenia, and the warmth of BG.
I live in the U.S.
When we were teens, my sister and I would go to the beach from time to time and would use a suntan oil that was popular back in the day and was probably an SPF of about 2. I can’t remember what brand it was, but it had a yummy, coconut-y smell. I have always hated to eat coconut, but to this day, because of that suntan oil, I have loved the scent of coconut, because it reminds me of the beach!
I live in the U.S.
My favorite sunscreen is Neutrogena Dry Touch and Olay Complete for sensitive skin. We will be heading to Nags Head and hopefully Wild Dunes, Isle of Palms, SC for the beach this summer.
I like Bond No 9 Fire Island for a beach scent.
Thanks!
I live in the U.S! Bronze Goddess is my favorite suntan-oil-ish fragrance, haven’t smelled soleil. Plan to go to Cancun in a couple weeks!! THANKS ROBIN!!
I live in the US.
My favorite face sunscreen is clarins daily shield lotion, because it doesn’t make my face shiny. I’m just hoping for some nice days on Cape Cod this year… Only a few months to go!
I live in the US and Shalimar is my beach fragrance. :3
I live in the US and you can use my email address.
My favorite beachy type scent is Azuree Soleil.
Thank you for the oppurtunity!
I live in the US.
I liked Demeter’s Summer Vacation until I met CB I Hate Perfume’s At The Beach 1966. Near-perfect!
Best sunscreen ever? Oh, how I wish I could find it! Sea & Ski, circa 1980-something, SPF 4. My search for the perfect beach scent is thoroughly based on my memory of the scent of that lotion.
Just got back from the Riviera Maya last week. It was beyond beautiful!
I live in the US and you can use my email address.
My favorite beach scent is Ava Luxe’s Venus Sands. It’s wonderful! Unfortunately (1) she doesn’t make it any more, and (2) it gives me a rash.
I live in the US and you have permission to use my e mail addy. I’ve been dying to try this one. Thanks.
I live in the US.
The only beach scent that i own is Miami Glow.I usually use Hawaiian Tropic. I don`t have many beach plans because I burn easily.
Funny that you posted this today – I just broke out the BG today for the first time as Austin’s temperature goes up to 86 today!
My fave sunscreen scent is probably BG, but I also really like Harajuku Lovers – both G and Music from the original line remind me of sunscreen. I also love ‘Dune’ which isn’t sunscreen exactly, but beachy, definitely.
I do live in the US! Thanks for entering me.
I live in the US!
My favorite suntan-oil-ish fragrance is Miami Glow! I still have my 1oz bottle from 2005. It has like only .5oz’s left! Sad. Haha. Thanks! : )
Live in the U.S. Permission to use my email.
Haven’t been on a beach vacation since dinosaurs roamed the earth, but if I could go someplace this summer, it would have to be someplace local, like Block Island (been there before, saw T-Rex and everything). Maybe these frags would be a nice incentive for me to pack my bags…….
Thanks for entering me in contest!
I live in the US. My favorite suntan oil scent is opus Oils’ Island. please enter me in the draw.
I live in the United States and you can use my email.
My fave suntan oil smell is Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar, it’s dreamy!!
I live in the United States and you have permission to use my email.
Clarins UV 40 PLUS for LIFE!
I live in the U.S. – permission to use my email
Favorite smelling sunscreen is Hawaiian Tropic, but my pastey, sensitive skin requires Neutrogena (also Bull-Frog works well and doesn’t bother my eyes)
Planning on taking my kiddo to South Padre Beach as soon as school gets out . . . would love to have some Bronze Goddess join us!
I live in the United States and you have permission to use my email.
I plan a beach trip this spring to Cabo San Lucas…..Bronze Goddess is my favorite beach scent, but don’t own it (would love to!) thanks for the give-away!
I live in the US and went to Hawaii last year – so I’m spoiled for any other beach vacation! I need to find a new sunscreen as i’ve learned that the helioplex ones make me break out. Ideas?
I live in the US!
B) EltaMD Clear SPF 46. The best, ever.
Ooo! Ooo oo oo! I live in the US!
I use Shiseido’s sunscreens (the bottle for the body; the awesome sticks for the face) and I love the smell and the feel of them.
I also like (you may laugh) J. Lo’s Deseo for a beachy fragrance. It’s a little sweeter, a little more tropical flower, than Mare by Beth Terry, another great one. And I love Sel de Vetiver by the Different Company for that beach grass/dry dune smell.
I live in the USA and you have permission to use my email in my account.
Azuree Soleil Eau Fraiche was one of my first FB purchases, but Satellite Ipanema is my favorite “obvious” beachy scent. Sel de Vetiver is my favorite “conceptual” beach scent; so beautiful and reminds me, for no apparent reason, of the last scene in “The Awakening.”
Thanks for another exciting giveaway, Robin!
I live in the US and you have my permission to use my email address.
My favorite suntan oil-ish scent is Juara Candlenut Oil Perfume. It’s a very happy, tropical scent and it’s one of those perfumes that is perfect for work or when you don’t want to wear anything complicated. It’s just a clean, beautiful fragrance.
Fabulous! I love the Estee summer scents and would love to win one.
I live in the US and my email address is yours to use if I’m the lucky one.
I practically went into mourning when Bain de Soleil disappeared. The orange ‘goo’ was great on the beach and their after sun lotion was even better. Sigh. Those were the good old days when a tan was considered a sign of health.
I rarely wear any kind of scent on the beach itself. I spend too much time in the water and would lose it anyway. But my favorite summer-y scent for the last couple of years has been Creed’s Virgin Island Water.
Favorite beach? Let’s just say I never met a beach I didn’t like. 🙂
No question, Bobbie Brown Beach! I had a brief but intense affair with L’eau de Monteil, but it wasn’t available for very long and I haven’t seen or heard about it in years.
I live in the U.S.
I live in the US and I like the Neutrogena sunblock spray. And I live close to Lake Michigan, so I love the beaches all up the coast.
I live in the U.S. My favorite sunscreen is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, my favorite beachy scent is the sadly discontinued Ava Luxe Venus Sands, and since I live near the beach, I crave mountain vacations! 🙂
I stopped by Dillards today and sniffed BG Soleil. Nice.
I live in the U.S. I don’t have a favorite “suntan oil” fragrance, so I’d love to try these Lauders. The closest thing I have to a summer-only scent is Alien Sunessence Edition Sapphir Soleil (the 2010 flanker). It was a gift and — luckily — one I actually like to wear! Sheer and great for hot weather. Looking forward to wearing it again this summer.
Fave sunscreen is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer liquid. I burn easily, so it’s nice to have a thin layer that will go under makeup.
Love the scent of BdS glee, but must use a high spf, no fav. Want to go back to Wikiki beach! And am almost ready to pull the trigger of the Bronze Goddess.
And I live in the US. 😉
I live in the U.S.
Favorite beach-y fragrance is the Comptoir Sud Pacifique line…coconut, Tahitian vanilla, and the like.
I use Neutrogena products as sunscreens, also La Roche Posay.
We’re going to Hawaii this year!
Thank you!
I live in the US. Favorite beach scent is, hands down, Bond No 9 Fire Island. I will be going to Tybee Island this year with my husband and in-laws. Thankfully, Miley Cyrus won’t be there. 🙂
Oops. Favorite suntan lotion is whatever has the highest spf and on sale at Walmart.
I live in the US.
My favorite beach fragrance is Aqua Motu by Comptoir Sud Pacifique – it reminds me of Los Angeles (I found it at a Fred Segal sale for like $10 and I still love it!)
I live in the U.S.
My favorite beach fragrance is Creed Virgin Island Water. I love its tropical limey-coconut essence. It makes me feel like I am not in Kansas anymore!
I live in the U.S. I also love smelling Creed Virgin Island Water, but wouldn’t/couldn’t shell out for it. For sunscreen I use Paula’s Choice spray in 30, I think. Light and dry w/o fragrance. Love.
This is great as I’m looking for the epitome of the perfect summer fun in the sun scent.
I live in the US and you have my permission to use my email account.
A) My fav suntain oil-ish scent is SL Datura Noir
B) I use Coppertone Sport Sunscreen
I love summer!
I live in the US! 🙂 So please pick meeeeee……
And for my 2011 beach plans, I plan to make an annual family trip to Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City, Oregon! 🙂
I live in the US and you have permission to use the email address in my account. My favorite sunscreen is Banana Boat Baby SPF 50. I like using traditional Monoi oil for a beach scent.
Hi Robin – Thanks for the drawing. I do indeed live in the US. My fav suntain fragrance is the original orange “gelee” Bain de Soleil. I could only aspire to be as glamorous as that green eyed woman when I was a kid. My fav summery fragrance is the Parfums de Nicolai Juste en Reve.
I live in the US. Thanks for the drawing as usual : )
My favorite beach scent is in fact Bronze Goddess, but a close second is Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena. I hope I’ll at least get to see the beach once this summer, when I visit family and friends back home in Florida!
i live in the USA. my favorite sunscreen is any one of those by Neutrogena.
The beach, for me, was always an experience of myriad scents. The ocean, the air blowing across it wafting it to you. The many scents of sun tan lotions, my memory of peanut butter and orange marmalade on whole wheat bread, the smell of hot tar in the parking lots. Most of all the scent of your skin warm from the sun and cooled by the ocean. The taste and smell of vanilla ice cream cups peddled by the intrepid teenager dressed head to toe in white. I was a Coppertone gal and occasionally, Bain de Soliel.
I live in the US.
1. I just got an inexpensive little fragrance oil from Whole Foods: Kuumba Made Pikaki Lei, that smells like a lovely sunscreen. I’m loving it.
2. Hawaiian Tropic Carrot Tanning Gel. I don’t find it in the US any more, but I found some in Mexico recently. I love the vintage safari style bottle. http://coolpremium.com/product.php?id_product=1865
3. Hopefully I’ll get to go to the beach in Rhode Island this summer. Fingers crossed.
I live in the USA.
I love BG and especially the oil. I hope it is still available!
Jan Marin face sunblock.
I am going to Maui on April 1. : )
I live in the US.
My favorite beachy scent, is JLO Miami Glow. I don’t even wear celebrity scents as a rule, but this one is a good one!
I also live in the US. Northern California to be exact. My fave sunscreen is anything by La Roche-Posay. Hubby’s derm suggested we switch a few years ago and although it’s super spendy, they are all excellent. As for beach vacations this year, Half Moon Bay will have to do!
I live in East coast of U.S. I usually get any sunscreen with spf of 45 or more that is on sale 🙂 We definitely will go to the beach this summer; there’s one close by.
I live in the US (South Florida). My favoritre sunscreen is Alba Organic Green Tea Sunblock SPF 45. It smells great and doesn’t turn the collars and underarms of my clothes orange.
I live in the USA–I won’t get a beach vacation this year but I work a few blocks up from pier in Huntington Beach, CA, and I walk down to the pier most days on my lunch break!
I live in the US!
And let’s go with G from the Harajuku lovers line for favorite beachy scent.
I haven’t a favorite beach scent, hence my interest in both Bronze Goddess and BGSoleil (although I keep a bottle of Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil around during the winter months because it feels/smells so indulgent on dry skin).
Right now, the whole family swears by Neutrogena Ultra Sheer dry touch sunblock. We keep tubes by the door and in each car so we are never without. The hubby loves it because it’s not greasy, the boy loves it because it’s waterproof (less time out of the pool), and I love it because it doesn’t create that itchy sunscreen feel by the end of the day.
And as for a beach vacation, well, we live in Florida (which is in the US). We’ve been out by the pool for weeks now (although the water is still a little nippy) and running by the beach on weekends to laugh at the Spring Breakers. Mid summer though, there will be a trip to the mountains …
I reside in the US– at the Jersey Shore, as a matter of fact, which is why I avoid beach vacations like the plague! 😀 When you’ve lived here long enough,, you almost view the seashore with a sort of horror. Snooki can have it…. I’m heading to the city. 🙂
This is a great giveaway as beachy scents are my favorite. I live in North Carolina (US) and you certainly have my permission to use my address if I win. My favorite “sun-tan-ish” fragrance is Bobbi Brown Beach and I usually try to pick a “summer flanker” each season that reminds me of the beach. I have plans to go the Outer Banks in Oct. – it is really beautiful there.
Thanks alot!
Hello Robin — Yes, I live in the USA and hope that I win this draw. My favorite “beachy” scent is Fragonard’s Riviera, Riviera because I bought it in Nice and wore it while sitting on the pebbly shore. Sunscreen is the highest number made by Neutrogenia, but I don’t sit out in the sun all that much. Am heading to Ft Lauderdale in a few weeks to visit the newest addition to our family (my neice’s baby) and will visit Maine in September–not tropical, but there is a beach!!
Hi Robin!
I live in the U.S. and my favorite sunblock brand is Badger – all natural is good in my book! 🙂
Hi, thanks! I live in the U.S. and you have permission to use my email.
Favorite sunscreen is Coppertone but I have been known to put straight coconut oil on my legs at the beginning of the summer to get a quick tan. It always works and I smell great!
Beach/summer scent – honestly Sand & Sable is a great cheap thrill.
I live in the US and my Summer plans include lounging on the beach on Tybee Island.
I live in the U.S.
I’ve worn Bain de Soleil sunscreen since I was a wee beach baby and still cherish its fragrance as the sine qua non of summer.
I live in the U.S! You can use my email add if i win.
I think LaVanilla Vanilla when i think of sun tanning in the beach.
My favotite sunblock is Mac’s prep&prime.
I live in the US.
I am originally from the Oregon coast, and I enjoy visiting family in Lincoln City over the summer. 🙂
I live in the US and you may use the email on file…
Favorite bronzer is by Clarins. Favorite sunscreen is shiseido or Clarins. My beach vacation will be Kauai in June with just my hubby! St. Lucia was a close call or just about any Caribbean island would do really. I’m still looking for the perfect beach scent.
I live in the U.S. Haven’t been a tannist since my early teen years, but I liked the scent of the original Bain de Soleil.
I live in the US.
My favorite suntan lotion is neutrogena sunblock SPF 30 in the continuous spray can.
Just sniffed BG for the first time yesterday and it’s on my list! Thanks for the draw.
I live in the US, and you may use the email on file to contact me. As I live in a fairly cold part of the US, I’m desperate to spend time someplace warm in the not-too-distant future…I have fantasies about lucking into a cheap deal on a trip to Hawaii, but I’ll admit that California’s more likely!
Hi Robin
Thank you for hosting the giveaway – I live in the US and you may use my email on file to contact me.
My favorite beachy fragrance is Bobbi Brown Beach.
Back in the day, I loved the old Ban de Soliel orange gelee sunscreen but these days I use the Neutragena dry touch ultra sheer sunscreen.
A beach vacation is not in the cards for this summer – we’ve promised the boys a trip to the UK but we will probably spend some weekends on Cape Cod.
Hi – my name is Peg and I live in the USA and you may use the email on file to contact me! I’m leaving from the Great Plains to San Diego this Saturday with my DH – four nights at the Del at Coranado Beach for a convention and then off to Santa Barbara and visit to a winery that my husband’s cousin owns – talk about a beach vacation from the Gods! It’s been a long, drab winter and I need the sunshine and warmth on my body and soul! I would love to have bottles of Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess & Bronze Goddess Soleil to remind me of this fabulous, upcoming beach vacation!!
I live in the U.S.
I LOVE Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream for Face SPF 55 PA+++ . I strongly recommend to try it if your skin is break-outs-prone.
I live in the US, and my favorite sunscreen scent is CBIHP At the Beach. It’s a winter pick me up!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I live in the US! I’m hoping to vaca in Florida…either Disney or Sanibel…tho I also love lakeside Michigan! Lovely beaches!
Robin, thanks again for your generosity. I live in the U.S and you have permission to use my email. Sunscreen is a must, when I was young I tried bronzing and only succeeded in getting a sunburn. My preferred sunscreen is La Roche-Posay Anthelios.
I’m in the US, and I *bathe* in Anthelios XL – it’s the first truly broad-spectrum sunscreen that keeps me from getting itchy and miserable in the sun. It’s only SPF15, but what a 15 it is. I slap it on all sun-exposed skin every day between the spring and fall equinox. I also use a wash-in sunscreen in my clothes.
I’m a dork for By Killian’s _Straight To Heaven_. Beach-after-dark.
I’m about 40 miles south of you I think (T-town). Suntan lotion? They sell that here? lol This summer’s scent will probably be Tauer’s Orange Star although I’m not really a beachy person. It’s no fun when you just burn, or maybe that makes my favorite summer scent “Pina Colada in the shade’. ; D My summer trip this year is to meet friends in St Louis. I hope I don’t melt.
Oh, this giveaway is making me a little fainty. My favorite beachy fragrance is Azuree Soleil, natch, so I’d love to try these. I live in the US.
This may be a strange one, but I smell the beach, or something that reminds me of the beach , in Folavril, by Annick Goutal. I like Estee Lauder moisturizer/sunscreens. I would love to go back to Orange Beach, but we may actually visit relatives in Orlando. (I do live in the USA)
I live in the U.S.
And with luck and good planning, I’ll be at the Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki Beach this Christmas.
Oh, thanks for the great give-away!
I live in the U.S.–in the U.S. part of the Sonoran Desert, so my vacations are to cooler weather!
Sunscreen–generally clothing with sunscreen protection, and Origins SPF 25 on every day, even in winter. Hands get Gold Bond hand lotion with SPF 15 in winter, Neutrogena 100 in the summer. Every time I wash my hands, on goes sunscreen. Blistex SPF 25 and lip pencil in the summer, so few companies make lipstick with SPF–shame on them!
Beach fragrance? i like Bronze Goddess, but am out at the moment. Hmmmm, how fortunate!
Thanks for the contest Robin!
I live in the US….and I think my favorite suntan-oil ish fragrance is actually from suntan lotion. I actually do not have the need for suntan oil, but I love the smell of Hawaiian Tropic. There’s just something really nice about the way it smells when it heats up on skin. It’s very distinct and I really like it.
Hi Robin,
What a fun giveaway! I do live in the US, and with the icky grey weather we’ve been having here in Seattle, some yummy summer scents would be most welcome 🙂
I often end up wearing Monoi Tiare Tahiti or Pitate oils in the summer- I first tried them in Hawaii decades ago and the scent brings back the memory so vividly!
No plans for a summer vacation but I can wear summer scents and dream…..
I live in the U.S.
I don’t have a favorite beachy fragrance, yet. My favorite sunscreen is ocean potion spf 70 spray, it smells like a creamsicle. Other wise I like plain coconut oil. Thank you for hosting the give away, Ive been enjoyably reading for a few months now and decided to de-lurk.
I live in the US
I love Shiseido SPF 60+. I’ve been using it well on a decade and it’s still my go-to sunscreen, never found anything better.
I live in the US, and please use my email.
The beachiest scent that like is TDC’s Sel de Vetiver. I can’t wait for the weather to turn warm again, so I can wear it! And as for beach vacation, I am going for 1 week to Oahu in June!
I live in the US. And my planned vacation this year (and usually) is to Myrtle Beach SC. Love it. I can already smell the Coppertone, which is my favorite beach scent. Haven’t smelled a fragrance to match it. Maybe they should just bottle their own.
I live in the US. Also You have the permission to use my email in my account. Well, I live in Key West, FL, and this is the most tropical place in the country. It is sunny and hot here most of the year. There are two fragrances that are my favorite suntan-oil-ish: first is Kenzo Summer, it really smells like suntan oil! It also has an almondy accord that I love so much. The second one is Fire Island by Bond no.9, which has been an instant love for me. Because we all go to the beach here, all year round, I love the smell of sun-baked skin:) This summer I will definitely go to South Beach in Miami, which is my favorite place in the whole world. Also my favorite color is yellow, because it reminds me of sunshine.
Thank You so much for this contest, and I am dying to win a bottle of Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess or Bronze Goddess Soleil. I know I would definitely rock it here in Key West, or my beloved Miami South Beach. Thank You so much!
I live in the U.S. And you have my permission to use my email address. My favorite beach scent is Beach from Bobbie Brown. I can’t wait to try the new Bronze Goddess scent.
I live in the U.S. and you have my permission to use the email address in my account.
My favorite beach scent is i Profumi di Firenze Brezza di Mare. I can’t believe that I’ve never smelled any of EL’s Bronze Goddess fragrances. Thank you for having another draw!
I live in the U.S., and I think of L de Lolita Lempicka as a gourmand suntan lotion scent. Thanks for the draw!
I live in the US!
And truly (I’m not just saying so because it’s the drawing), Bronze Goddess is my favorite beachy fragrance. I also love less literally-suntan-and-sun sort of beachy frags, like Kai and Juste un Reve.
I am dying to win this!!
I live in the US.
My wife LOVES…Bronze Goddess! Hopefully she’ll get to try this one when we’re in the Keys this summer 🙂
I live in the US.
I will be going to Spain around Memorial Day (and it just so happens to be my birthday then too). I will of course be bringing my favorite sunscreen, La Roche-Posay Anthelios with Mexoryl.
I live in the US, and you have my permission to use the email address in my reader account to contact me. As for beach vacations, nothing fancy – my husband and I like to make day trips to the New Jersey shore on summer weekends to enjoy the sand, the ocean, and a nice dinner out.
I live in the US and my summer beach getaway will hopefully be a quiet weekend in Long Island
I live in the US and you have my permission to use my email address. Sadly, I don’t have anything for a) or b), and most sadly also for c). Thanks!
I live in the US.
Bobbi Brown’s Beach!
No beach vacations planned but I work within walking distance of Santa Monica beach and often pack a lunch and eat it on a bench by the sand 🙂
I live in the US. One of my favorite beach is Harajuku Lovers G – a nice light and inexpensive coconutty fragrance. The bottle is super cute too!
Thanks for another drawing! I live in the US and my best beachy scent is Sel de Vetiver. I use Olay Complete as my daily sunscreen and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 with helioplex for fun in the sun.
I live in the US. My fav sunscreen right now is the Shiseido spray on sunscreen! it’s so convenient and less sticky than what I’m used to. Thanks for the contest!
I live in the US.
My fav. beachy summertime product is monoi de tahiti and coconut oil. I like to keep it simple. I’ve heard great things about Bronze Goddess products by Estee Lauder though and am keen to try them. Thanks!

I don’t have a favorite suntan lotion scent, but would love to win a bottle of Bronze Goddess–I love love it!
Thanks Robin.
Thanks Again Robin!!!

I always loved the smell of Ban De Soleil Orange Gelle.. Reminds me of summers in Coney Island, NY… I actually just tried a spritz of Hampton Sun’s fragrance at Bluemercury, and it transported me to the beach instantly… really, really nice =)
