The Marc Jacobs Daisy Cabs for Daisy Eau So Fresh toodle around London getting their pictures taken and whatnot, to the tune of Modern Girl by Sleater-Kinney (which as you may remember, they used for the original Daisy commercial). A little over three minutes, which may be two minutes more than what was called for.

So, am I the only one who finds the idea of a product called “Eau So Fresh” being paired with a traditional, gasoline-powered automobile a little ironic?
(And I agree that 1 minute would’a been plenty. Doesn’t really *say* anything.)
Well, sorta…but don’t think they were trying to make any sort of environmental statement here. Just cute cabs.
I tried it on today and was surprized by the old school powdery violet note in the top. That’s not “fresh” to me, and I think the original is “fresher”.
I was expecting something different, sweeter and more sparkling, but I still don’t like it.
I liked the original better too.
