    Hello everybody.
I always buy everything with the name shalimar, because I worship this perfume. Shalimar is me, even in the hottest Milan summer.
Now I’m wearing ode a la vanille.
Thank you Robin for this precious review!
Meanwhile, I’m going to buy l’heure bleue. Please do tell me something about lhb, this blog is a paradise full of wise perfumiste!

I have yet to try any Ava Luxe – there are too many!! But Oeillet sounds like the cat’s pajamas. Could be the place to start.

I’ve been lusting for a new almond fragrance. Since I’ve never tried any Ava Luxe products, maybe this might be a start.

Did not like AL’s older Oeillet Rouge, but might have to sample this one; it sounds nice. I assume it’s a slightly different formulation, at least… Oeillet Rouge had rose too.

You assume correctly, Mals. I had a bottle of her old red carnation; this is a different formulation to my nose.

AL’s scents are wonderful! Not sure these would do a lot for me, but as a rule….

Have never tried AL’s scents, will have to try Amande. I just purchased SL’s Datura Noir, both scents seem to share many of the same notes (vanilla, almond, heliotrope, musk). Soft and not too sweet.
Does anyone know how is the staying power of AL’s scents are? DN seemed to last until morning of the next day.

AL’s lasting power is pretty good, at least on me. The scents lean to the sweet side, a lot of them, but they’re exceptionally well done and I highly recommend them.

These both sound pretty. Will look to find AL in the DC area.

I can’t believe so many of you haven’t tried her scents – Serena is a wonderful perfumer.

Not sure if anyone looks at old topics but the Amande is super yummy, like a candied, sugared almond:D. I could seriously eat the bottle:D.
