Gucci Guilty Pour Homme ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 5 January 2011 26 Comments

Gucci will launch Gucci Guilty Pour Homme in February. The new fragrance is the masculine counterpart to last year's Gucci Guilty for women, and is meant for the man "who knows what he wants".

The notes for the aromatic fougere include lime, lavender, pink pepper, neroli, orange blossom, cedar and patchouli.

Gucci Guilty Pour Homme will be available in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette. (via parfumerie.nl, parfuemerie-thiemann.de)

Wow, I’m bored with this fragrance after reading the list of notes. I hope that it smells more interesting than it sounds, but I get the impression that Gucci thinks that “the man who knows what he wants” wants a nondescript fragrance.

Possibly…or might just sound boring. The women’s wasn’t all that exciting.

I’m not usually opposed to chest hair on men, but that is some seriously *weird* chest hair.

    Ahem. Sorry.

      It is trimmed, I guess?

I didn’t notice — I was too focused on his pout, which for some reason strikes me as hysterically funny. (on another blog, they accuse him of taking his modeling cues from Zoolander)

He (Chris Evans) isn’t Bearishly hairy, BUT OH YEAH, they did a trim job on that chest like a gardener doing topiary! he is more thickly furred than that ad shows him to be! although, he still looks good enough to pray to! DAMN!

Well, he certainly looks like he is feeling mildly guilty about something, although probably something trivial. (Maybe the blonde asked him to lower the toilet sink or put his used underwear in the laundry basket.)

More and more bottles are adopting this flask type design.

I am trying to decipher the tattoo (writing) on her back… perhaps ‘my neck is killing me’?

        Thanks Robin!
I had no idea who she was… and thanks to the link I see that her tattoo is far deeper than I’d imagined! I was poking fun where perhaps I should not have (sometimes I just cannot restrain myself)! I know this was a popular woman’s release for 2010.

I have seen this listed with different notes. I sent P&G a sample of my creation for what I thought would be perfect for a men’s version of Gucci Guilty. I sent it right after I learned of the womens version. I created what I would classify as a soft floral, that would be perfect for fall and winter wear. Apparently P&G didn’t like what I created, but I sure did LOL

Here’s the Guilty Pour Homme commercial. It’s pretty much the same but focuses more on him. Haha. I haven’t heard the best of things about Pour Homme but I’m still looking forward to trying it. : ) http://www.youtube.com/gucciparfums?nomobile=1

The new Intense version is on macys.com. Let’s hope it’s better than the original. Where’s the women’s Intense? Hmmmm. : )
