sheeesh, I hope she hasn’t depleted the world’s supply of eyeliner!
oh, nothing Versace has ever done a thing for me so this doesn’t interest me at all…..however, it’s doubtful I can exist without eyeliner….

OMG! Daisy! I thought the very same thing! That’s more eyeliner than I’ve ever seen on any one person! How does she hold her eyelids up?

I don’t think she is wearing as much as Taylor Momsen in the Parlez-Moi d’Amour commercial.

don’t like the bottle, it’s a demented version of the D&G The One for men bottles(which I like). however I will try this for the juice.

and Taylor Momsen’s eyeliner changes her whole face, I had a look on Google images and there’s hardly any of her with any eyeliner on at all, she looks so pretty without it.

but when she does have it on she must have black eyeshadow aswell, it’s not like I wear eyeliner or anything but it must take ages to get the whole of the eyelid with just a thin pencil, they’d go red from the scratching of the pencil before they went black. and it would take too long to use liquidliner because after you did one line you’d need to leave it to dry or it would smudge. or does it dry instantly? I dunno.

:O she was in The Grinch aswell, she was a little girl though, the one that changed the Grinch’s heart(well nearly).

All I could think was, did the model really perform so badly that they had to resort to all these camera tricks and distracting loud music? (sorry, showing my age again)

It is not what I expected. Vanitas is supposed to be their “couture” offering — more expensive than other Versace fragrances. Their couture customer must be much younger and trendier than I would have thought. (although of course I know zip about fashion, so not pretending I would have known anything about the Versace couture customer, LOL…)

Honestly, have no idea what their couture base is. Went into Versace the other day to check out what I couldn’t afford there to search for it online and everything was covered in zippers and had bustier tops. I like their evening wear & sunglasses, but their ready to wear collection left me confused. It was too young for even me, yanno at my mature age of 25.

As tacky and loud as Versace could be, I actually prefer the line when it was under Gianni’s direction. It was more fun and vivacious but still fantastic tailoring wheras now, the tailoring is still impeccable but the lines are so strict, I sometimes mistake it for Calvin Klein! Not at all the direction I would have expected Donatella to take.

Vanitas is a fragrance from Profumum Roma. How much lack of imagination is outhere?

Vanitas is also a Versace line from the days of Gianni, I think that is what the fragrance name is trying to evoke, the old school history of the Versace brand.

Yes, and they still have fashion items under that name. I think in this case Versace most definitely got there first.

I found the visual ‘distortion’ somewhat disturbing, like I needed a special kind of glasses in order to see the thing properly, akin to a bad dream where I can’t see or speak clearly. Not attractive to me whatsoever. I still really like Crystal Noir however, so I am not dismissing Versace altogether…

From the video I imagine a scent that is metallic, shifting, entirely synthetic and without any depth (base notes?) at all. Might be fascinating but not very alluring.

even with all that eyeliner this model looks 12….

I agree with Merlin it looks pretty vapid.
