Coleen Butterflies, Josie by Josie Gibson ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 1 December 2010 17 Comments

Butterflies by Coleen

Coleen Rooney, wife of English football star Wayne Rooney (her first fragrance, Coleen, was under her maiden name, Coleen McLoughlin), will launch Butterflies, her fourth fragrance, in April of next year.1

The notes include citrus, rose, hibiscus, black pepper, nutmeg, vanilla flower, cedar, rosewood, amber and tonka bean.

Coleen Butterflies will be available in 50 and 100 ml, concentration unknown. (via diarydirectory)

Josie by Josie Gibson

Josie Gibson, winner of the reality show Big Brother 11, has launched her debut fragrance, Josie.

A sparkling cocktail of mandarin, apple, and peach entwines with green blackcurrant leaves before cascading into a watery floral heart highlighted with nuances of rose, freesia, magnolia and linden blossom. Supported by subtle woody accents, the fragrance warms with the addition of vanilla musks, amber, and moss.

Josie by Josie Gibson is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, £19.50, at The Perfume Shop in the UK. £1 of each bottle sold before December 25th will go to the cancer charity Look Good Feel Better. (via theperfumeshop)

1. Her first fragrance was followed by Coleen Summer and Coleen Black, both of which we failed to announce.

That Butterfly buttle is cute as a (if you’ll pardon the pun) bug!

I have a young niece who would probably love it.

Typos are always excused! And it does look perfect for a young niece.

Who ARE these people? It’s strange to have celebrity fragrances by people who would need a name tag outside the UK…

I don’t think they sell them outside the UK though…

Colleen, I think, is famous for having a husband who cheated on her? But that make him the butterfly, not her?

Josie…well apparently she won a big brother. I’v got two to give away if anyone is interested.

That butterfly bottle is adorable….I’m a pink girl myself….wish I had a niece to get this for!! My bff’s daughter is 14…but I’ve already ruined her for this sort of stuff by providing so many niche samples….sigh

Ah! They grow up so fast when exposed to the finer things. Methinks it’s a double edged sword.

yeah, true that! my daughter at 15 couldn’t understand why EVERYONE wouldn’t wear things like Amouage Dia and AT Une Rose Chypree !!! Used to complain horribly about all the terrible fragrances she was forced to endure at the highschool! She LOATHES Axe ….and she LOATHES Bath and Body Works…..it was all over the place and in excessive quantities…or so I’m told ;-)

Well, when it comes to AXE – I think she has a point. And, by the way, it is TOTALLY aptly named. I find it usually impales itself right between the eyes of unsuspecting breathers.
