I think I’d make sure my diamonds were strung a little more securely. And yes, perhaps they could trade a diamond for a couple cheeseburgers…..

Marilyn Monroe sang, “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend,” but everyone knows that a DOG is man’s best friend (reminds me of the George Carlin routine).
I propose a new fragrance…Man’s Best Friend (a.k.a. Dog). You could have variations…Sporting Dog (fresh and citrusy), Hunting Dog (woodsy autumn smell), Puppie (for the teen body spray market), and of course, Old Dog (borrowing somewhat from Old Spice). I have so many good ideas…just don’t know how to launch them.

Agreed – I wouldn’t be breaking a necklace over him . . . since I could probably break him over my knee.
If they had done the ad with Jon Hamm (Don Draper) the necklace would be the LAST things I’d be thinking about.
I’ve seen commercials where he looks great…but agree, not here.
