Omg, Sharry Baby orchids are real! Not some made up accord. Well, I’m sure the actual accord is synthetic, but that name just cracked me up so much I had to google it.
Did Jordan Sparks’ sing that song “Because of You”? I thought it was that first girl that won American Idol that sang that. Not surprised…they all sound the same to me. 😛

I am lazy…it cracked me up too and I didn’t bother to google.

I know she is from AI but have never heard of her til today…

Makes me wondered if “they” chose this particular species of the orchid just for the fact of its hilarious name alone!

I just googled Sharry Baby Orchid and found descriptions of it having an overt aroma of chocolate. I suppose they could have just included cacao as a scent element, but that’s nowhere near as knee-slap hilarious as Sharry Baby. 🙂

If they’d named the perfume “Shari Baby,” would Frankie Valli have sued?

Seriously???? I think hers was the last season of American Idol I watched. And yes, she can sing. But seriously? Everyone gets their fragrance now. Is having your own fragrance the new 15 minutes of fame?

When was that? Surprised I have never heard of her, although I only watched AI one season and that was a few years ago.

Maybe 2002? 2003? I was in grad school so mind numbing tv was very therapeutic….

Not that long ago – you’re younger than you think! lol! She won in 2007.

I think I have heard it all now. Guess everyone is cashing in on the perfume market.

Off to take a long walk.

I have been puzzled over why more British B list celebrities had fragrances than US B list celebrities…maybe the tide is about to turn!

Oh, the list of notes truly cracked me up. Blackcurrant or plain old orchid just aren’t good enough any longer. 😉

As much as I’d love to mock, it just doesn’t seem right. It would like ridiculing an iCarly product. I’m nowhere near the target demographic for this – but among her fans, I’m sure this while do just fine. Also, Dots is a very inexpensive shop for very young people – I’d be very surprised if this retailed for more than $25.

Yeah, I think its really nice that the price will be so affordable I am sure parents will be able to buy this for their daughters without busting their budget this Christmas.

I think the introductory price is going to be $9.99, later it will go up to $14.99.

That is a great price can’t beat that I am sure it will sell out this Christmas.More celebrity fragrances should sell at this price too.

My favorite part of this is that they named it after a Kelly Clarkson song! I am not a follower of these things, nor young enough to think I should know this, but somehow I do. Are they trying to get a season 9 (?) contestant to cash in on the fame of a season 1 (?) finalist?

What a weird name for a perfume. I keep thinking of the song by Kelly Clarkson.
