I think they’ve been great in a relative sense…they’re great for mass market celebrity scents.

you have a valid point….I shouldn’t compare these to my usual diet of niche to nichey-niche fragrances. The truth is that I’ve been reluctant to sniff 99% of mass marketed fragrances this last year or so. In that respect I really have nothing to compare her fragrances to…other than one of those fold out magazine samples of Gucci Guilty in the Neimans (?) sale thingy —for a paper sample it wasn’t that bad.

I too thought her first, Halle, was great. Haven’t tried the others, though.

That felt awkward. Kinda like watching Napoleon Dynamite the first time. Sweet bottle!

Just turn off the sound and look at her – I’m so glad she cut her hair. She is too gorgeous! What fragrance?

Ann is right: just turn off the sound!

I’m being picky (there’s my disclaimer) but I have just as much problem with someone saying “what makes a man? a woman” as much as I’d have a problem with “what makes a woman? a man”. Oh and I guess if you aren’t a man with a woman or a woman with a man I guess you’re a non-entity….

I’ll be picky with you too then, ITA.

I also agree with others, better with the sound off 🙂

I concur! This was awkward!! I kind of felt like I was about to be groped… lol. Is she trying to sell me perfume or talk me into a threesome? I mean c’mon… no real person goes around talking all sexy like that…even the physically beautiful people like Halle, do they??

This felt like a throwback commercial – something you would see in the late 60’s or 70’s in it’s tone.
If Anne Bancroft (Mrs. Robinson, The Graduate) had done this commercial with a glass of scotch and a cigarette in her hand I would have bowed down before the computer screen.

She’s beautiful, as usual, but that commercial is cheesy. Just gimme the bottle. 🙂

Something about that commercial felt like, well, TMI. It’s supposed to be intimate, but it was just a little too intimate, if you know what I mean.

But Halle is friggin’ beautiful, and so is that bottle.

    Hugs!

Could take a whiff today. To me it smells like a fruity floral, not overly sweet and with a clean finish. Nicely done and not bad for a celeb fragrance.
