Sugababes Tempt, Tease & Touch ~ new perfumes

Posted by Robin on 17 September 2010 20 Comments

Sugababes Tempt, Tease & Touch

The English pop group Sugababes has launched their debut trio of fragrances, Tempt, Tease and Touch:

Tempt (shown above center) ~ "Tempt is a fragrance in tune with the Sugababes vibe - a vigorous fruity floral bursting with Zesty Iced Tea and the astounding scent of Purple Orchid. The Rose and Musk add texture while Vanilla Pod bursts through with a catchy beat." Additional notes include blackcurrant and berries.

Tease (above right) ~ "Sexy and sultry, Tease is full of passionate tempo, an intoxicating cocktail of zesty lemonade and juicy pear with luscious jasmine seductive magnolia." Additional notes include honey and sandalwood.

Touch (above left) ~ "Touch starts with a blast of cranberry and lychee and the intensity of violet and rose ensure that the pulse keeps pounding." Additional notes include patchouli and musk.

I actually like the sound of Tease – zesty lemon , magnolia and honey!
But Touch could be truly terrible or amazing – cranberry and an intense violet !???! The patchouli and musk are probably too clean for my taste.
I could see these working as a stocking stuffer at Christmas for my younger sister.

Have you heard of these people? (They’re probably huge, but today is the first I’ve heard of them)

If they are huge, it’s news to me. Of course, people don’t believe me when I say I’d never know a Justin Bieber song if I heard one, so I might be a little out of touch.

The name “Sugarbabes” annoys me. I don’t know why.

Um, that’s Sugababes. No “r”. I’m sure you’ll find that less annoying, LOL…

I have never heard Justin Bieber sing, but I do know who he is. Which is more than I can say for my husband — I had to explain it to him the other night when Jon Stewart (or somebody? Colbert?) cracked a joke about JB.

Ah! That’s so much worse! (And what’s sad, Robin, is that I read the name over several times to make sure I had it right, and that I wasn’t making an ass of myself.)

I thought they were a pop group, haven’t heard any of their songs here on the radio (Ohio) but I”m sure they had no input with the scent itself anyway.
I think the bottles are cute and would appeal to my sister.

I didn’t know they were still going, their last album sank like a stone.
They’re more famous for having had 4 line-up changes. There’s now no original members left in the group.

Tease sounds like it could be good – I like honey notes.

they’re British. so those of you in the states won’t have heard of them. I’d be suprised if you had.

they do pop kind of dance music. I guess they’re good.
it’s true that there are no original members left. the latest one to join the group replacing Keisha (the last original member) is Jade Ewen who sang for us in Eurovision 2009.

That is EXACTLY what I thought of when I saw them. I don’t know quite how they’re supposed to work, but those are sex toys for sure.

Yup, ditto… but I refrained. LOL! Sounds like I correctly guessed they’re Spice Girls 2. So not a fan of pop music these days (though put on some 80s pop and I’m happy as a clam).

I am SO relieved to know I’m not the only one who thought that upon seeing the bottles!

I’ve been known to tune in to Virgin radio on the satellite stations now and again, so heard them, thought “Spice Girls” and kept going. :)

The perfumes don’t sound too bad, though.

The Sugababes aren’t really that popular anymore so I’m suprised to see them coming out with a fragrance. They’re a bit of a joke to be honest, they’ve changed band members 3 times and none of the original ‘babes’ are part of it.

Is it horrible that I like the sound of all 3 of these?! I have no idea who they are but I want these fragrances! I’ll probably never see them in the US but I’ll find them online someday. LOL! : )

Some of the most hideous bottles I’ve ever seen.

And they look like even cheaper (if that’s possible) copies of Britney’s Fantasy bottles. sans crystals.
