Aramis Impeccable ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 19 August 2010 12 Comments

Aramis Impeccable

Aramis will launch Aramis Impeccable in October. The new limited edition fragrance for men was inspired by "the idea of a finely tailored tuxedo".

The notes include Moroccan cedar, black pepper, juniper berry and citrus zest.

Aramis Impeccable will be available in 110 ml Eau de Toilette. (via wwd)

Hmmmmm……is this considered a flanker? or a completely new scent? Regardless, I’m intrigued.

Hope it’s better than cool blend, it didn’t smell bad but was very boring. It must be tough to know where to go next if you’re Aramis. You ‘re not niche but everyone thinks- grandpa! The old frags are pure “Lauder family” and after Tuscany it’s hit or miss. Still, they never smell bad and that’s saying a lot for men ‘s fragrance.

Agree totally! I think they are really trying to update their image, hope this one will be better than Cool Blend.

I think this brand should be retired…the name is just a zero. My favorite Lauder men’s frangrance was Tailoring for Men from Clinique. I still remember it fondly.

I disagree. Aramis, Devin, JHL, Havana, and New West are super fragrances!

Gotta vote with Teger…they make some real classics.

But wouldn’t you agree that they are nothing like Eau Sauvage or Armani (the original “green” fragrance for men)? I don’t know any guy who wears the Lauder fragrances…and up until quite recently you could not find them in most dept . stores, but Nordstrom always has at least a couple of bottles of Eau Sauvage and Armani in stock.

Well, there are a million fragrances that aren’t like Eau Sauvage (don’t really know the Armani), right? New West and Devin were great scents, and I know Tuscany had lots of fans. Estee Lauder has not done a great job of keeping the label relevant to young people, and so perhaps they will in fact disappear, but I would be sorry to see it.

I loved Tuscany as a teen. I remember a boy who used to wear it and he always smelled great!

Does Anyone Remember Lauder For Men? it was a very masculine Green/Woody Fragrance with a Warm almost Oriental feel to the base. it was very well done.

VanMorrisonfan – this is an amazing fragrance! I detest the original Aramis from ’65 with a gorge-releasing passion, but Impeccable is addictive as caffeine.

The only thing wrong with this scent is that I haven’t figured out a way to make it come out of my showerhead yet. Absolutely fantastic.
