Faith Hill True ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 27 July 2010 14 Comments

Faith Hill True

Country singer Faith Hill has launched her second perfume for women (the first was Faith Hill by Faith Hill), Faith Hill True:

Inspired by casual sensuality and spirited femininity, Faith Hill True embodies a woman’s incredible sense of self – pure, honest, and unabashed. Opening with a burst of exotic citrus, Faith Hill True weaves a breezy floral middle and finishes with a woody base of warmth and subtle sexuality.

The notes include yuzu, mimosa, lily, gardenia, woods, sandalwood and musk.

Faith Hill True is available in 15, 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (via faithhillfragrances)

… no pepper? … no fruit?…. (unless yuzu counts as a fruit). I think I need another cup of coffee, another pair of glasses? This sounds test worthy for mass market.

It doesn’t sound bad. It might fall into the “cheap fun” category. (Although I don’t know how cheap, and I’m too lazy to do the research.)

It’s a pretty short list of notes. Odds are that there is pepper, or fruit, or something else.

Yikes, I hear the words “pure, honest” and all I can think of is cleaning products . . .
I’ll give it a try if I see it, the yuzu and mimosa sound nice, hopefully not too sweet.

Ha! My every dream come true . . . if only it had the maid to go with it.

Thanks, she makes me want to dress up and sashay around the house with a stiff drink and fabulous lipstick.

Goodness. It ‘weaves a breezy floral middle’. Sounds painful.

Anyone know what was her first one like? This one has lily so I will have to make an effort to find it and try it.
