Avon will launch two new fragrances in collaboration with designer Hervé Léger.
Hervé Léger Femme (shown above left) ~ a woody floral with notes of magnolia, pink grapefruit, orange blossom, honeywood, benzoin, cypress wood and vanilla.
Hervé Léger Homme (shown above right) ~ a spicy woody scent with ginger, yuzu, smoldering wood and amber.
Avon + Hervé Léger Femme will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum ($34); Avon + Hervé Léger Homme will be in 75 ml, concentration unknown ($30). (via wwd)
Update: Hervé Léger Femme was developed by perfumer Calice Becker, Hervé Léger Homme by perfumer Stephen Nilsen. (via cosmeticworld)
I like the bottles, but I wish they would not have made the Femme juice pink. Pink makes me think of fruity floral, not woody floral. I think a light amber color would be better.
The pink grapefruit must have taken over the bottle!
True, I agree about the juice color. To me amber colored juice looks more expensive too. 😉
I’m pretty tired of pink perfume too.
It’s really cool how the bottle design echoes his signature dresses. They are strappy and figure hugging.
Celestia, you beat me on that comment! 😉
And the price is right… I hope they are good.
I’m really diggin these Avon collaborations, Ungaro, Lacroix and now Leger. Very nice choice of designers IMHO.
I do not know the fashion at all…will have to go look!
why must they include vanilla all the time? is it kind of obligatory?
Yes 😉
So I’m guessing those are in collaboration with the “company” named Hervé Léger and not with the actual designer formerly known as Hervé Léger? (now Herve Leroux)
That’s correct.
Yes, Herve Leroux (Nee Leger) works now as the Assistant and Design Director Of Carolina Herrera!
