Oh my! These are basically making my day. Don’t have time for the ones just linked to but these! xD

I love the first one, especially because she looks half-way to laughing. That second one seemed pretty hilariously inappropriate, though.

And they worked! I want to try some. ;3

Hmm, I guess there is no way to get a tester of a solid. I have a couple and was thinking I could slice off a little bit but I really doubt that would work, especially since it is getting hot down here.

Oh, I’ve got a store down here that carries them. I just have been overwhelmed by how many there are. And there really isn’t a good way to test them.

Yeah, I’m getting a lot of heat down here in Texas. It’s started up that thing where you can feel the heat climbing all over you when you open your car in the afternoon. : (

They lost me when she started tearing up the book. Personal issue of mine. On a brighter note, a local boutique has started carrying all of the Crazy Sticks. They are super-cute, not so expensive, and smell nice. I think. I’m not a fan of solids because I generally can’t smell them. Maybe the solid carrier wax/oils make me anosmic to the fragrances – I can’t even smell the Bond No. 9 solids. The only one I’ve successfully sniffed is Fracas and it is a solid in parfum strength. That’s a lot of Fracas.

Solids generally have poor sillage, which can be a plus…or not.

Is it possible for Fracas to have poor sillage? Somebody came into my shop smelling, well, fecal – or rather heavily indolic and unpleasant. I asked about the fragrance in a neutral way was told it was Fracas and they wear it to work every day! Yowza! Anyway, enough about Fracas, the Crazy Sticks and other solids are great for traveling with, too. I know someone who might be taking one to Hawaii on vacation very soon!

The Fracas solid *does* have amazing sillage for a solid, but still, less than the liquid.

I like these ads for many reasons… not the least of which is that they made me laugh out loud!

I started laughing when she rubbed the bread all over her neck! I wanted to do that with a lovely bagette in Paris. Just tear it open and bury my face in it right there on the street. The french already think americans are weird (not the least of which is we can’t spell french words), mauling bread on a public street would put them right over the top :D

LMAO! “Fanny/#3” was my favorite! I try to get *at least* one belly-laugh in a day. Thanks for the assist, Robin! :)
