No homo-erotica to see here – move along. lol [Yes, I know he ends up bedding the woman – but still.] I don’t care for most perfume commercials I see, but I enjoyed this one for some reason – hmmmm – can’t imagine why. 😉
I think that’s what FK is trying to say…JPG likes to mess w/ “gender codes” 😉
But I should have included a link to the new commercials for anyone who missed them:

I’m not getting the first part of your comment, RD.
Really? Did you watch the video? Definitely some H-E goings on, imo anyway. Needless to say, nothing wrong with that. 😉
I love Le Male. It was a huge success when I worked at Filene’s at the men’s fragrance counter in 2003 (for 5 months during my midlife-crisis-what-am-I-going-to-do-next era – a blast, BTW, though the hours and pay were dreadful). Biggest seller for men, though, was Armani’s Acqua di Gio, and Obsession was still going strong with the older crowd. Oh, and remember Drakkar Noir????? Is that thing still around?
I think it is still around…
Yes, Drakkar Noir is still around. How I hated it back in the summer of 1988. I associate it with this goofy golf pro I went out with a couple times who bathed in it. I re-smelled it with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago and didn’t hate it as much as I expected to. I guess the direct connection with drinking too many shots with said golf guy has worn off.
The Le Male ad is enjoyable, and so h-e. She’s fine with him leaving at the end, just so long as he leaves that pillow smelling like the cologne. Very cute!
I still have never smelled Le Mâle. I suppose I should. LOL.
Yes, you should! I think you’ll recognize it when you do.
