I saw My Insolence, Badgely Mischka (but only one of these), L by Lolita Lempicka, and several from Cacharel. On the men’s side, both Azzaro and YSL Jazz have been present in quantity. At our local store, there’s always lots of junk, but if one is patient one can find some nice stuff.

I don’t think my TJ Maxx is as good as some…I never see the wonderful things other people do (if there were ever any Armani Prives, I missed them). I was excited to see the original Gucci Pour Homme, but it wasn’t as cheap as I was hoping.

Where ARE these fab TJ Maxxes? My local ones tend to have mostly White Shoulders and the Elizabeth Taylor scents.

Well, we have pretty green grass, but I’ve never found $3 Bal de Versailles at my Marshalls.

🙂 That was my first and last score at Marshall’s — I got all excited and scoured the store every week for months after, but zilch!

Yeah, i saw all of those at Marshalls as well. My gf picked up an F by Ferragamo gift set for $25(50 ml, 10 ml purse spray , body lotion).

I found a coffret of EL Emerald Dreams and Bali Dreams at Marshalls – 4 minis for $14.99. Both L de Lempicka and Lolita Lempicka were there, as well as Envy, Rush 2, and My Envy (that’s the pink one, right?).

I can’t remember what else was there because my husband was with me and he was rushing me.

Believe me, I didn’t want to! But he was already with me at the mall because he wanted to look at jackets, eat, and go to GNC. He actually wasn’t too bad – of course, this was before he got a load my latest escapades on the credit card statement.

For some reason my Marshalls’ & Loehman’s have better selections than the TJ Maxx, they rarely have anything decent, but they are good for lotions & bath products (& had the Korres sets last week).

The Loehman’s has a huge selection but pricey, over the few weeks I’ve seen Etro bath products, loads of Bulgari (Rose Essentialle, Red Tea & others), First, Gucci Envy, Annick Goutals & loads of other stuff (they have a huge wall of perfumes).

Marshall’s is great for bargain hunting though, particularly if you’re not fussed about the boxes being a bit worse for wear – recently I bought two large bottles of Lismore (originally for my Mom & then went back & got one for myself) for less than $15 each, 3.4 oz of Belle En Rykiel for $20 (a fall fav) & was tempted by the Rumeur (iirc that was less than $20 too). I may have to go back & look for the Gucci by Gucci though LOL.

I’ve seen Gucci by Gucci at both Marshalls and TJMaxx in the last month – I think that it was at Marshalls the other day, but I haven’t been to TJs in a few weeks.

Meant to add – the Loehmann’s is where I got my 3.4 oz Jardin Sur Le Nil (they had Mousson recently too) – I think I paid $75, rather than the $125 retail.

Wow, I’ve never seen any AG’s at discounters! That’s impressive. Too bad I’m so far away from a Loehman’s that I don’t even know what one is.

Ditto. I have to say though…for things like Hermes and AG, I think the online discounters are more discounted.

I was in there last week and in addition to what you saw they had: AG Petite Cherie & Eau d’Hadrien, Oscar De La Renta & So De La Renta, Tommy Girl & Tommy Girl Jeans, Bvlgari pour femme, Givenchy Organza, Ralph Lauren Notorious, Ralph Lauren Cool, and Lanvin Oxygene. I didn’t get a chance to look at the men’s since it was closing time.

Our Marshall’s and Filene’s Basement are also not great for perfumes; a lot of older-release celebrity frags, plus Cabotine. The only real score I’ve ever had was a Carthusia Mediterraneo (50ml) for $25 at Nordstrom Rack.

Yes, I saw Notorious, various Bvlgaris, Rumeur ($30ish) and the assorted Paris Hilton stuff.

I also saw Korres, Lancome, Estee Lauder (some travel edition fragrances as well), POP Beauty, Clinique and JOEY NY.

I went for the Korres Body Trio in Fig. Well-pleased, too! Lots of ‘fumes, but nothing that called my name. I have seen AG Petite Cherie, tons of Estee Lauder gift packages, Cabotine, VW Rock Princess.

I picked up two 1.7 of Bvlgari Aquas for the bf @ TJMaxx, I think they were $30/ea… One of the boxes was kind of banged up but the bottle was fine. I also got a gift set of EA Green Tea (3.4 EDT, lotion and shower gel) for something like $14.

Esp. if you’re not gifting the items, it can be easy to grab the discounted, messed up boxes 🙂

Hey, you have an excellent memory! Thanks for including the price of the Petite Cherie…I probably wouldn’t have bought it at the price anyway. I may end up going back for the Gucci Pour Homme though, which IIRC was $25.

I scored a gift set of Marc Jacobs Daisy at my local Marshall’s for $49.99! It was the bigger bottle and it came with the sparkling body butter and 2 smaller purse size perfumes. I love when I score a great deal like that, it makes me want to just run out and shout from the mountain top……no really!
