Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2009, part 6

Posted by Robin on 18 June 2009 29 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

vivara-black

From Pucci, a limited edition collector bottle of Pucci Vivara Eau de Parfum: Vivara Black Edition. Around 66€. (via vogue.fr)

Cartier Delices de Cartier set

Delices de Cartier in a limited edition set that includes a slide-top solid. $85 at Sephora.

Cartier Eau de Cartier limited edition 2009Cartier Declaration Green Attitude

Also from Cartier at Sephora, a limited edition bottle of Eau de Cartier, done up in "a colorful, tri-toned bottle" for summer. $85 for 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

And a limited edition bottle of Cartier's Declaration titled "Green Attitude", from Escentual in the UK. 100 ml Eau de Toilette, £55.

CK One limited editionO de Lancome limited edition

And from Calvin Klein, a collector bottle of CK One to benefit Planète Urgence: for each bottle sold, a tree will be planted. To launch in July. (via vogue.fr)

From Lancôme, a limited edition bottle of Ô de Lancôme. I'm not sure exactly what is special about the bottle or the packaging, but according to the Lancôme website, this is "Une Edition Limitée pour l'été 2009". 75 ml for around 44€, at the Lancôme website for France.

I’ve loved ALL the Pucci Vivara bottles — wish they’d put something I liked inside.

Most of those are boring…but that Pucci Vivara is so eye catching! And I love black white and bright yellow together! hmm knew I couldn’t make it through the day without finding something to want…..I’m turning off the computer now!

The CK too? I thought that one was catchy, although not really my taste.

nope, don’t like people on my bottles….the only thing I like about the CK bottle is the tree planting idea….I’m all for greening the earth.

Don’t buy it – the juice is terrible!

But there are also Pucci Vivara’s that ARE different scents, aren’t there? The bottles are like this, but in three different colors. I can’t remember what they’re called, but they’re each different fragrances. I haven’t tried any of them, but maybe for those who like the bottle but didn’t like the regular Vivara one of them would work? I know they had them at Sephora, might be worth checking out.

          Yes, these:

They were nice enough, but none of them wowed me either, although admittedly I didn’t try on skin.

The slide-top solid with Delices de Cartier looks interesting — wonder if its made of plastic or something more aesthetically pleasing? Of course, this is all hypothetical as I don’t really like Delices.. too bad.

I assumed it was plastic, but not at all sure.

I’m on a quest for the Pucci “Sole” yellow bottle. Finally got a **brief** smell of the juice on a spritzing spree a few weeks ago and liked it well enough (tomato leaf + jasmine). Now, if only evilbay would cooperate.

Sure, Miss Kitty, but that would require paying ***retail*** prices for perfume… and you obviously don’t know me that well yet. ;)

Ahhhh…I’m with you there. This seems like one that could show up at Marshalls or Ross, if you give it time. They seem to get a lot of flankers and limited editions. I’ll keep my eyes open.

The Pucci is really nice and the Delices solid looks interesting, I’d have to see it in person to form an opinion.

We’ve already established that I live under a rock , with no contact with the media or the fashion world….but I’ve never even heard of Pucci Vivara…and while it’s nice looking in the picture…there’s not much light under this here rock so I wouldn’t bother to try to own one…oh, and it’s dark in the fridge too. :-)

Oh you adorable lil black Pucci bottle – come to mama! Actually, not crazy about the fragrance so never mind. *sigh* Wish it was in the budget to buy a nice bottle just for the sake of it.
