My friend Joel totally scored on one of these sales this past spring. So jealous!

Pshaw, they won’t have anything good I’m sure.

But, what is a sample sale for perfumes/candles? I know what it is for shoes and clothes…

I think this is just overstock/discontinued/repackaged…not really the same as a sample sale, but the term seems to be used very loosely these days.

(First time posting.) I went to this on my lunch break just now and got the Myrrhe and Opopanax room sprays for $25 each……honestly this kind of stuff is fully half of why I moved to New York. God bless the sample sale.

Having never been to such a thing before, it’s hard to gauge, but I have to say I expected it to be more so. Still, I waited in line to pay for about 15-20 minutes, so plenty packed for my taste.

By the way, Robin, I’ve been reading this blog for ages and I wanted to say how much I love your straightforward style of reviewing. It’s refreshing to read writing that lacks the frothy sentimentality that most automatically turn to when discussing such a topic. So thanks for that.

Nice to finally ‘talk’ to you!

Also, I should thank you as well for inspiring my love of iris. My sample of 28 La Pausa made me know it was love…
