Posted by Robin on 27 February 2009 12 Comments

Salvador Dali Black Sun Sport cologne for menSalvador Dali will launch Black Sun Sport, a flanker to 2007's Black Sun for men. Like Black Sun, Black Sun Sport was developed by perfumer Antoine Lie, and the new scent is "designed to accompany the modern man in his active, sporting life".

The woody citrus fragrance features notes of yuzu, nutmeg, geranium, cedar, amber and musk.

Salvador Dali Black Sun Sport will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via parfums-salvadordali)

Swiss Unlimited cologne for menVictorinox Swiss Army is celebrating their 125th anniversary with Swiss Unlimited, a new fragrance for men that launched last month.

Swiss Unlimited was developed by perfumers Christine Nagel and Jean-Christophe Herault, and "was inspired by plants and herbs from Switzerland". The notes include artemisia, absinthe, lavender and silver fir.

Victorinox Swiss Army Swiss Unlimited is available in 30 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette and matching grooming products. (via wwd)

The SD bottles are great, most of them anyway. Like this one although thought it was more striking in the original black bottle.

OK, pedant that I am, I am now imagining the kinds of “sport” a chronic depressive might get up to.

really intensive whining and moaning I suppose….but with melting clocks everywhere and unusual placement of random body parts…and an elephant…..whew, after a tough whining workout maybe a nice long languishing session…

I love that the Swiss Army one has a carabiner attached so you can hook it to your belt whilst mountain climbing. I'd really want it if there was a knife on it, too.

My 18 y/o son tried this when I tricked him into perfume shopping with me and he liked it. He told the SA that he likes everything by Swiss Army, but he meant the knives not the fragrances. I guess marketing based on brand familiarity works.
