Many congratulations, R, and very well deserved.

May I just add that a) I'm a little surprised by the blogs mentioned where there has been little, if any, new content in recent months, b) it was great to see that Cait is posting again on Legerdenez, and c) when I worked through all the blogs I hadn't heard of before, it was actually a relief to realise that they were not in English and therefore I could honourably decline to bookmark them! Much as I love reading about perfume, I do have to squeeze a bit of work into the day, and it's getting harder and harder…

Congratulations! As VanillaGirl said, well deserved.

I, too, noted that many of the blogs were miniminally active…but it did seem that the cream pretty much rose to the top. It is interesting to note that there is so much interesting bloggery going on these days…and a variety of editorial styles/content, at least for those of us who are inclined to troll (and care, LOL). :)

For many reasons this is my only daily go-to blog. The most important is that it has class. The prize is well-deserved! Were the other prize winners in a tie situation? The chips all fell in the right place for 2nd and third. 1000 fragrances is an amazing blog, considering it is written by someone whose mother tongue is not English. He has access to archival photos and detailed chemical information. Congratulations, Robin, and thank you for providing perfumistas with so much joy!

It is true that some of them aren't updated frequently, and so agree on the blogs in other languages…I can hardly keep up w/ those in English!

When I first discovered the world of perfume blogs (about a year ago), I checked in regularly with several (and liked them, those that were updated on a timely basis), but very quickly settled on this one as my favorite. I like the writing and I've learned so much from reading the articles and reviews. Congratulations on the award – you all deserve it.

I thought this was the best and most informative – I picked well.

Thank you Robin for all the spot on reviews and congratulations.

Great Christmas present huh? The writers and other reviewers are deserving too! You've got a talented team.

Joy and have a Great Christmas,

    Becca

I do not know if they were ties or if they'd decided in advance to give that many awards? Agree on 1000 Fragrances — he is amazingly knowledgeable.
