Coming next month from Burberry, winter limited edition variations on their popular Burberry London for Women and Burberry London for Men fragrances, both with metallic fabric sleeves (gold for women, brown for men)
Burberry London for Women Special Edition is a floral bouquet with grapefruit, peach nectar, pepper, British rose, white tulips, honeysuckle, patchouli, mahogany and musk. Developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Burberry London for Men Special Edition is a woody citrus; notes include bergamot, black pepper, cinnamon, apple, lavender, rosemary, violet, freesia, patchouli, oak, ambrofix and musk. Developed by perfumer Antoine Maisondieu, in 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via cosmoty.de)
And coming this month from Leonard is Leonard Homme, the brand's new signature scent for men. The floral print on the bottle recalls last year's L’Orchidée Leonard for women.
The fresh, woody scent includes top notes of bergamot and nutmeg, violet flower leaf and cedar in the heart with incense and cashmere wood in the base.
Leonard Homme will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via cosmeticnews)
I really like the fabric sleeves in the pic – so much nicer than the cheap cotton ones on the current Londons. I love the Men's London – I make my husband wear it for me in the fall and winter. The new LE's sound promising. I'll have to check them both out.
They do look nice — I just assume any kind of fabric is not going to stand up well. Would hate to decant from these!
Hm… I have yet to like a Burberry fragrance for men. I think I'm the only one though, lol.
OMG those Burberry bottles are stunning!
No, I'll join you!
They are nicely done. I know I'd drip the juice on them though!
I like London Men (not as much as Brit Men), but I am not into the flannel-wrapped bottle, which strikes me as fairly ridiculous and somehow tacky — like a perfume tea cozy. This metallic brown (metallic brown???) version doesn't really get me salivating either.
Curious to smell the LE reformulation. I realized that the men's Burberrys I like are great fall/winter cool weather scents — very cozy and comforting and a great thing to have scenting your scarf [Burberry if you're lucky] on a chilly day.
A perfume tea cozy, LOL! They're pretty but I don't much want fabric on my bottle either.
