Pitti Immagine Fragranze No. 6 in Florence

Posted by Robin on 11 September 2008 Leave a Comment

Starting tomorrow, in the Gardens of Palazzo Corsini in Florence, Pitti Immagine will present the sixth edition of Fragranze, a trade show "dedicated to the world of artistic, selective perfumery". The event will be open to the public on Saturday, September 13:

The most exclusive perfumes, timeless fragrances, research on beauty, body-care and wellness products and perfumed accessories for the home – all this and more will be on stage in September in one of the most beautiful gardens in all Florence. Exceptionally high quality craftsmanship, unique and sophisticated products presented by the great international names in fragrances.

“Fragranze is a workshop where we select the newest and most interesting proposals the industry has to offer," says Agostino Poletto, deputy general manager of Pitti Immagine, and research products that are complementary to and coherent with perfumery. From one edition to the next, the event has established itself as the meeting point for members of the trade, and as the international stage for the entire field of advanced – and niche – creative perfumery. The excellence of the participating brands, the newly designed layout for each edition and the magnificent setting of the Palazzo Corsini Gardens make Fragranze a total experience that creates a close contact with the world and the history of fragrances”.

The general admission on Saturday will be €10; hours are 10 to 7. There are over 100 brands participating, including Annick Goutal, Bond no.9, Diptyque, Floris, Histoire de Parfums, Il Profumo, Laura Tonatto, Lorenzo Villoresi, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier, Penhaligon's, Robert Piguet, Juliette Has a Gun, Les Nez, Morgane Le Fay, Ortigia and Parfumerie Generale. Saturday's events include a 60th anniversary celebration for Robert Piguet Fracas and a presentation of the new Diptyque book. You can find more details at the event website. (via press release)
