Osmoz on your iPhone

Posted by Robin on 16 July 2008 11 Comments

Osmoz, mobile versionOsmoz, the consumer perfume website owned by Firmenich, has launched an iPhone-ready website:

The customized osMoz.com layout specifically designed for the new iPhone 3G is accessed at mobile.osMoz.com. This mobile site contains all of the most important features of the osMoz 2.0 site for the shopper-on-the-go. Daily fragrance news, personal fragrance albums to help consumers track their instinctual addictions to fragrance, and a search engine are just a few of the helpful applications available on the mobile site.

“As the premiere destination for everything fragrance-related, osMoz.com is dedicated to educating consumers about the art of perfumery worldwide, providing detailed information on thousands of fragrances as well as links to fragrance brands and distributor websites,” commented Jerry Vittoria, Vice President, General Manager - Fragrances, Firmenich North America. “We believe in the importance of educating consumers about the world of fragrance so that they will truly enjoy selecting and using a variety of perfumes that appeal to their individual personalities.”

Just tried it on my Nokia N95, and have managed to read the news pages successfully. Hope it works on other mobiles too!

Since the new ones are only 200 clams, I am seriously thinking of getting one, although I have no great love for AT&T. I'll let you know if I do (and this makes me just a little bit more inclined to do so).

AT&T is what keeps me from getting one. I'm actually pretty darned happy with my regular (but now rather old) 30G video iPod, but gosh that iPhone is cute.

Do I really need my fragrance obsession to follow me around everywhere? Unfortunately the answer is yes.
