Chi-cocoa Scentsation ~ this fall in Chicago

Posted by Robin on 14 May 2008 10 Comments

A group of volunteers over at Perfume Posse is pulling together a Chicago shopping trip scheduled for Saturday, September 13th:

Join us in Chicago this fall for an incredible, decadent day of fragrance and the Universe’s favorite food: CHOCOLATE!

Patty and March from Perfume Posse will be with us as we spritz, sniff and sample our way through some of Chicago’s finest fragrance departments and boutiques, with many stops to sample chocolate throughout the day!

Special Guests: Neil Morris!! Liz Zorn!!! They’ll both be at the Event to showcase their magnificent fragrance lines.

This informal gathering on Saturday, September 13 will feature stops at L’Artisan, Chanel, Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman-Marcus, CO Bigelow, Nordstrom — and more.

You can read more about the event at Perfume Posse, or follow updates on their forum. If you'd like to attend, you can RSVP to chicocoascentsation (at) gmail (dot) com.

Sniffapalooza went to Paris last year — and I think they are doing Italy this year.

One day, maybe, we'll be able to video-blog, and you can click on my little frozen face and I will come alive and talk to you, and vice versa!

I have this vision of you, Robin, in your suburban home with a nice garden and a cozy kitchen nook. Wouldn't it be nice to just drop by for a cup of tea? I'd bring some great chocolates made here in Vancouver; Chocolate Arts does a beautiful one with organic sugar pumpkin and spices and almonds. . .xo

LOL — but I haven't a breakfast nook and all the time I ought to spend making a nice garden goes into this blog! Perhaps we can meet at a coffee house and then it won't kill your nice vision ;-)

No garden, no breakfast nook? That was this apartment-residing city girl's vision of suburban American paradise! Let's take a couple of chairs out and sit among the weeds in the sunshine, then!
