Dior Addict 2 Summer Litchi by Christian Dior ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 7 May 2008 18 Comments

Dior Addict 2 Summer Litchi fragrance by Christian DiorChristian Dior has launched Dior Addict 2 Summer Litchi, a new fruity floral summer limited edition flanker to 2005's Dior Addict 2:

Paying homage to the Litchi, also known as the Chinese cherry, Dior Addict 2 Summer Litchi Eau de Toilette celebrates summer with new freshness. The sparkling, acidic top notes of grapefruit are followed by delicate, appetizing middle notes of litchi and a bouquet of Turkish roses. The sweet base notes of white musk recall the sensuality of the young Dior Addict 2 woman. Made with high-quality raw materials, this limited edition is rich and refined.

Christian Dior Dior Addict 2 Summer Litchi is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette, and can be found now in the UK at theperfumeshop.

So there is Dior Addict 2, Dior Addict 2 Summer Peonies, I have seen here in Prague a pretty recent Dior Addict 2 Shine and now there is Dior Addict 2 Summer Litchi.

OK that makes 4 Dior Addict 2 versions … more braincramps *”*

Remind me to avoid the Perfume Shop. This has got *everything*; fruity-floral / numbered ephemeral flanker of a flanker / litchi / aimed at young women. Could this be the ultimate anti-scent?

Vanillagirl, I believe that by now we deserve 4 full bottles of the 4 Dior Addict 2 fragrances. After all we've done our best to appreciate each one of them, by going to the stores, spritzing and spraying again and again just to make up our minds.

I did like the first Dior Addict 2. The 2nd Dior Addict 2 Shine was shockingly sweet to my being and I will have a hard time to process more versions of Dior Addict 2.

By now I need a salty spritz of Eau des Merveilles and a woody spritz of Andy Tauers Le Maroc pour elle.

And to wash the DA2s all away a good stiff wodka with some extra olives, will be great.

No, Dior Addict Shine is a flanker to Addict, not Addict 2. So one less, depending on how you look it — given that Dior Addict 2 is really a flanker to Dior Addict 🙂

MW, dd you get eaten alive by midges? I grew up in Scotland and I'm still stunned by that itchy cloud every time I go back up north.

R, I'm thinking DA 7 Winter Chill will be packed with pink pepper?

Maybe strange but I do not remember clouds of midges at all. That summer in Scotland was in 1977. It was august and no honestly I don't remember anything like that. What I do remember are the very nice people, the beautiful nature, getting to know the diffirence between blended and malt whiskey, visiting friends in Edinbourg and having a lovely dinner with roastbeef and yorkshire puddings, playing pool in a cafe together.. We had a great time !! :-))

Dior Addict Shine is a flanker of Light Blue I think 🙂

I smelled Dior Addict Summer Litchi at the airport and it smells like a watered down version of the very pretty Addict 2, with some fruit added. Nothing earth shattering.

On the other hand, I got Very Irresistible Summer Cocktail for my birthday from one of my Mom's friends who has not seen me since I was 16. Will you throw rotten tomatoes – or litchi – at me if I confess actually it's not so bad?

We don't throw rotten tomatoes at anybody, no matter what you buy and wear! And I would not be surprised if I liked VISC better than UJALM…
