Sonia Rykiel Belle en Rykiel Eau de Toilette ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 11 January 2008 13 Comments

Sonia Rykiel Belle en Rykiel Eau de ToiletteSonia Rykiel has launched a lighter Eau de Toilette version of 2006's Belle en Rykiel fragrance.

Belle en Rykiel Eau de Toilette is a "noticeably fresher new version with a sparkling opening (lemon, green apple, yuzu and more)"; additional notes include rose, lily of the valley, orange blossom, lavender, incense, patchouli, amber and musk.

Sonia Rykiel Belle en Rykiel Eau de Toilette is available in 40 and 75 ml. It can be purchased now in France; no idea when it will make its way to the US (the Eau de Parfum took a good long time). (quote via osmoz, additional information via cosmetiquemag.fr, soniarykielparfums)

I still miss her first fragrance Sonia Rykiel. Did not buy it at the time for it was above my budget then. Therefore I always keep trying her fragrances and who knows I may like this one..

I really like the bottle! It's very modern, and very pretty.

I just saw Sonia Rykiel Woman at TJMaxx for $20. Is that the one you mean. The box has little silver circles on it.

No the one I like so much is an orange bottle in the shape of a sweather (not the pink one or the blue one).

I like it too, and the color.

Mmm i love Yuzu. The bottle is so pretty. The shade of the bottle is almost reminiscent of Halloween by Jesus del Pozo. I bought that one just for the bottle, never really fell in love with the fragrance or its odd name.

I love that one so much! It is similar to lolita lempicka but fruitier and richer. I saw a bottle recently at the TJ Maxx. It's really affordable. There ought to be more reviews of it.

Yep, that's another cool bottle! I'm not sure I've even smelled it.

It is indeed still around. It's the fave fragrance of my mother's close friend and I just picked it up for her a little while ago at imaginationperfumery.com for $20.00 or something. Have seen it in the stores, too, and agree it is a great fragrance that doesn't get discussed enough.

Thank you so much for the website Erin. Enjoy watching so many 'good old' fragrances again and suddenly I truly miss some of them. Would buy some of them in a heartbeat..

I don't know whether it is a good idea to order since I live in CZ.

Do they pack their bottles well enough to survive a flight overseas and the local mail delivery?
