New from Emanuel Ungaro, Apparition Sky, the latest in the series that includes Apparition (2004), Apparition Homme (2005), Apparition Sun (2006), Apparition Facets and Apparition Homme Intense (2007).
The concept is that of a talisman that evokes lightness, happiness, joy and freedom.
The juice is a floral transparent musk, with top notes of bergamot, apple and star fruit. Cyclamen and lotus form the heart, with cedar wood and musk in the base.
Emanuel Ungaro Apparition Sky launched last year in Asia, and is sold in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette. It is expected to reach other markets this year. (via moodiereport)

Oops, apple. Sounds very un-you, Robin. And it also sounds as though it's missed the top of the bell curve of this mainstream style, as the rest of the pack will be following in the sillage of Midnight Poison and Elle. . .
P.S. Of course, it DID launch in the Asian market, so in that sense it's very much au courant. And I did very much like the original Apparition, so I might well enjoy this one, too. It was very well done, I thought, for a dreaded fruity floral!
I think that's exactly right: perfect for the Asian market, and I'll bet it will do well here too.
I sniffed it recently just out of interest, as I liked Apparition pour Homme, and this appeared to be an embarrassingly obvious copy of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue.
Just what the world needed, then, eh?
