Ferragamo Incanto Shine, Ungaro Apparition Facets & Apparition Homme Intense ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 13 November 2006 8 Comments

Ferragamo Incanto Shine fragrance

Salvatore Ferragamo will launch Incanto Shine in March: "Incanto Shine is a fruity, floral fragrance, composed by Karine Dubreuil of Mane, and the bottle is decorated with pink flowers and a dragonfly motif."

Ferragamo Incanto Shine includes notes of pineapple, bergamot, passion fruit, pink peony, peach, cedar, amber and musk.

The fragrance will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml bottles of Eau de Toilette, and in Shower Gel & Body Lotion. (quote via cosmeticnews, additional information via cosmoty.de)

Emanuel Ungaro will have two launches in 2007, Apparition Homme Intense and Apparition Facets.

Ungaro Apparition Homme Intense fragrance

Ungaro Apparition Homme Intense will launch in January. The fragrance was developed by perfumer Olivier Polge:

From fresh and woody in the classic version, it now comes across much more oriental (vanilla, amber) and mouthwatering (licorice wood), with a few green accents, thanks to coriander, rhubarb and tea. So it’s really more of a totally new fragrance than a variation.

Apparition Homme Intense will be available in 50 and 100 ml bottles of Eau de Toilette. (quote via osmoz, additional information via cosmeticnews and fashionmag.fr)

Emanuel Ungaro Apparition Facets perfumeUngaro Apparition Facets, "a lighter version of the original Apparition fragrance", will debut in March.

It was created by Françoise Caron and the notes include pink grapefruit, bergamot, Damascus rose, hibiscus, amber and musk. Apparition Facets will be available in 50 and 90 ml. (via cosmeticnews & moda.it)

Update: Emanuel Ungaro Apparition Facets is in Eau de Toilette concentration, and is a limited edition. (via femina.fr)

I know what you mean, M, but apparently these Incanto things are selling so very well that they can't stop themselves :-)

Is there some special deal I'm missing with the Incantos? A night in Paris with Orlando Bloom free with every bottle, perhaps? I can't think of any other reason for these to sell, apart from the fluffy, pretty bottles and the general inoffensiveness.

I think they are geared towards a young market, the same as that targeted by the Escada seasonal things. So a fluffly pretty bottle and general inoffensiveness may be all that is needed.

I was going to say the same thing as March, only she said it better than I was about to. Good lord, I actually feel pity for the poor SAs who have to try and sell all these Incantos while pretending they've got something new to offer.

I'd hate to sell perfume, you know? Incanto or no Incanto. They must spend half their time with losers like me who are just trying to cop samples and are never going to buy anything, LOL…

I've just returned from Florence and had the opportunity to sample Ungaro Intense – it's the one in a red rectangular bottle… it was gorgeous… I really wish I'd bought it now :(

The notes sound interesting, but haven't seen it here yet. Will certainly try it when I do!
