Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Extreme 2007 ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 7 November 2007 6 Comments

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Extreme 2007

Here it is, the 2007 version of Flowerbomb Extreme from Viktor & Rolf:

Flowerbomb Extreme Limited Edition Eau de Parfum is an intensified expression of Viktor & Rolf's signature Flowerbomb perfume. In a bottle like a precious amethyst gemstone and dressed up with a bow, Extreme plunges straight into the heart of deep floral accords. Sambac jasmine, osmanthus, and rich vanilla unleash a sublime, sensual pleasure.

Available now at Nordstrom, $130 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Gosh – wouldn't that be like the nuclear warhead of perfumery?

LOL! But IIRC I liked the Extreme better than the regular. Don't remember why…

This perfume literally “bombs” the living daylights out of me. I tend to walk faster as I pass the Nordstrom isle where this perfume is displayed and spritzed. There is a huge difference between drowning in florals and waking up to them!

    🙂

Actually, the Extreme is like of like the extrait form – less sillage, closer to the skin, than the edp – I agree it's easier to wear than the original.

You know, it is one of those scents that I find much better dabbed than sprayed. A little bit is rather pleasant, a full on spray is more than I can handle.

Yes, that's it, and IIRC, aren't the top notes also “fizzier”? I seem to remember liking the opening better.
