It is pretty, although I didn't find it very exciting to watch.

    Dearest Robin.

All these perfume ad videos reminded me of the movie “Boomerang”

Grace Jones plays basically herself (A Diva) that is releasing her first fragrance via a cosmetics company that belongs to Eartha Kitt.

The executive/project manager for the campaign is Eddie Murphy, who gives complete freedom to the creative designer, over the fact that Murphy is too heartbroken to pay attention to the campaing details.

This video is the moment when Murphy attends the “reveal” of the ad he has never seen nor supervised, to the top brass.

And a little lagniappe: the previous “testing and naming” of the fragrance by the diva.

Sorry, but I just couldn't help to remember this and laugh, on view of the deluge of celebrity scents and freaky video ads.

Proably I've commented on it before, but never got to the videos.

    P.

Wow…after reading that Salon.com article, I now know that I'm in vogue when I wear my plumber's pants!

    (I refuse to wax, though.)
