Terra di Siena and Magnifico 9: Peperoncino ~ new fragrances from i Profumi di Firenze

Posted by Robin on 19 October 2007 4 Comments

i Profumi di Firenze Terra di Siena perfumeTerra di Siena and Magnifico 9: Peperoncino are the latest fragrance releases from Italian niche line i Profumi di Firenze.

Terra di Siena (shown) is a unisex fragrance, and...

...captures the magic of Sienna with top notes of bergamot and mint; heart notes of Florentine lavender, cumin, cinnamon, orange blossom and a seductive woody finale of sandalwood, cedar, tonka bean and vanilla.

Magnifico 9: Peperoncino is also unisex, and is...

...from Lorenzo de Medici's 16th century recipe. This spicy, passionate and unisex regal fragrance resonates with cayenne, pepper, cardamom, clove, basil, neroli, black violet, Italian cypress and Himalayan musk. It will heat you both up all winter!

i Profumi di Firenze Terra di Siena and Magnifico 9: Peperoncino are $89 each for 50 ml Eau de Parfum at beautyhabit.

Other recent releases from i Profumi di Firenze: Incanto, Muschio Bello.

Terra di Siena has me curious – it sounds so nice and warm. And my daughter's name is Sienna, so it would at least make a nice collectable! Will have to add it to my sample list at beautyhabit, see if it's worth $89.

Oh, no! Cumin? Urrrr. Very, very dirty sneaker/rancid t-shirt on me. Anyone else experience the same phenomenon?

Small amounts of cumin don't usually bother me. Large amounts smell like sweat.
