Muschio Bello by i Profumi di Firenze, Eau de Brooklyn ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 3 October 2007 6 Comments

i Profumi di Firenze Muschio Bella perfumeMuschio Bello is the latest fragrance release from Italian niche line i Profumi di Firenze:

A mystical blend of white flowers, aromatic orientals and spices of the East. This "Beautiful Musk" includes sensual notes of amber, incense and jasmine with a whisper of patchouli and coriander.

i Profumi di Firenze Muschio Bello is $89 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum at beautyhabit. Other recent releases from i Profumi di Firenze: Incanto.

Update: Muschio Bello has been renamed Muschio e Ambra.

Eau de Brooklyn perfumeEau de Brooklyn is the brainchild of neurologist Emilio Oribe, who with "his 10-year-old daughter began developing the line last year with the scents of local parks and gardens as inspiration". The finished product includes notes of tea and bergamot, and is described as "elegant and refreshing with citrusy notes".

Eau de Brooklyn is available in Eau de Parfum (15 ml for $26.50) and soap ($8 each or 2 in a gift tin for $18.50). (first quote via brooklynpaper, second quote via eaudebrooklyn, with thanks to Jessica for the tip!)

Didn't they have another musk already? Or maybe I am thinking of something else.

Hey V! I don't think so, but wouldn't swear to it.

No wait never mind. I'm thinking of the one by Dr. Vranjes.

I received an Eau de Brooklyn soap in a gift bag at a Brooklyn Botanic Garden gala. The soap – a nice French hard milled bar – is wonderful and so is the scent. I was pleasantly surprised. I like the soap so much I'm going to look at the rest of the line. Really lovely. The perfume may not be me (I prefer heavy orientals and woods) but in bath products it's lovely.
