Guerlain Cherry Blossom Delight, Christian Dior J'Adore L'Absolu ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 17 October 2007 3 Comments

Guerlain Cherry Blossom Delight perfumeEarly next year, Guerlain will introduce the latest in their limited edition Cherry Blossom series geared towards the Asian market. The 2008 entry is Cherry Blossom Delight:

The juice opens on notes of bergamot, leading to a heart of aromatic green tea and the franchise’s signature cherry note.

The fragrance itself contains tiny pink and silver sparkles, designed to evoke the clouds of petals that swirl through the air under the sakura (cherry trees) at the beginning of spring...

Guerlain Cherry Blossom will be available in 35 ml Eau de Toilette. (via moodiereport) Prior entries in the series: Lovely Cherry Blossom Gold Sparkles (2006), Cherry Blossom Fruity (2007).

Christian Dior J'Adore L'Absolu perfumeChristian Dior has launched a limited edition variation on J'Adore, the fragrance for women introduced in 1999. J'Adore L'Absolu is..

Intense. Precious. Rare. Absolutely feminine. A limited-edition Eau de Parfum with mystery in every golden drop. Yet another reason to wear or give the fragrance women adore

J’Adore L’Absolu is described as "a unique interpretation of J'Adore Eau de Parfum sublimating the intensity of its floral notes with flower absolutes: jasmine, rose, tuberose, and ylang ylang". The finished result is a powdery floral with intensified green accents.

Christian Dior J'Adore L'Absolu is available now at nordstrom, and is $82 for 75 ml Eau de Parfum. (first quote via nordstrom, second via elle, additional information via osmoz)

It is a great scent, although too sweet for me personally. Marlen reviewed it here shortly after it came out.
