Spread your wings and reach for the stars...Experience the enhantment of discovery!

The fragrance notes include litchi, yuzu, lemon, star magnolia, rose, purple rain freesia, amber crystals, skin musk and white woods.

Anna Sui Flight of Fancy is available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette, and in matching Shower Gel & Body Lotion. (via annasui-flightoffancy)

Other recent releases from Anna Sui: Dolly Girl Bonjour L'Amour.

L'Occitane Honey & Lemon perfumeL'Occitane has launched Honey & Lemon, a new Eau de Toilette:

I don't get the Anna Sui bottle. The top is gorgeous, like one of those big Lalique fan stoppers from the 1920s (it suggests the Clairefontaine a little), but the bottle itself is just this big heavy block of glass. The two halves don't match: either the bottle should be airy and Laliquey, or the stopper should be chunky. What were they thinking?
At least when Betsey Johnson did the huge Lalique-styled bottle top, it matched the boudoir bottle underneath, even if the top was plastic and cheap-looking.

I see your point — and I'm also wondering if when you see it in person, if the cap isn't also plastic & cheap-looking?

Anna Sui's fragrances always seem on the verge of being something special, but something always seems to be lacking. Too, there's a similarity in style and tone to each of them. She certainly isn't pushing any great envelopes in the realm of fragrance. Perhaps her market is young and she's playing it safe. Flight of Fancy is no departure.

The L'Occitane sounds intriguing. . .They do honey very well. (If you've experienced their delicious honey incense, you'll know what I mean!)

Re. the bottle, I'm relieved that it's not another one of those scary doll looking thingies; they knid of creep me out :).

I am torn between finding them creepy, and so wonderfully funny. Wouldn't want one staring at me from the dresser in the morning though!

I think the intended audience is very young. Have to admit I haven't tried many of them, and hardly remember those I have tried.

“girl-woman” “spread your wings and reach for the stars”? I hope she's trying to be funny and is mocking that kind of ad copy! It's as cheesy as the juicy couture stuff! The website reminds me of barbie.com who's also got a peacock theme going right now (my 9 yr old dtr loved it).

The lemon and honey sounds good. Will have to track it down next time I'm in Nashville.

Anna Sui: I'm way beyond girl-woman, and that Bride of Chuckie doll-head bottle is way beyond hinky. But there's something about the original Anna Sui fragrance . . . I like it, somehow, and I love the bottle.

Litchi? Yuzu? Surely not! Why no pink pepper?
(feeling a bit sour this evening…)

LOL — who knows what they're trying to do. I have a feeling it fits in well with their intended market.

The lemon & honey isn't very lemon-honey to me — more like a gourmand vanilla floral.

LOL at “Bride of Chuckie doll-head”! I need to try the original AS again, I guess.

The L'Occitane Honey and Lemon fume is not yet in Vancouver, but they were giving away samples of the lotion. YUMMY!!! Hope the EdT isn't too, too sweet, as the lotion was very gourmand. . .

Same feeling towards the bottle of Flight of Fancy – don't know what the hack the designer was thinking! The scent itself is not bad. I found out to be one of the more memorable ones of all the fruity floral perfumes we are getting nowadays. However, I am reluctant to buy it because I'm afraid I will get tired of it in a few months and will think it is just another fruity floral fragrance. :-/

I haven't seen or tried it — glad to hear it was at least memorable!
