Yves Rocher is preparing to launch the third fragrance in its luxury Secrets d'Essences line (see Voile d'Ambre and Rose Absolue). Iris Noir is described as a "floriental scent over an iris-chypre base", and was developed by perfumers Olivier Pescheux (who also developed Voile d'Ambre) and Nathalie Gracia Cetto.
The notes for Iris Noir include bergamot, coriander, ambrette seed, iris, patchouli and tonka bean.
Yves Rocher Iris Noir will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum. It launches in France this October, but probably won't make it to the US until 2008. If we're lucky, we'll get the chance to buy a miniature for $3 (5 ml minis of Voile d'Ambre and Rose Absolue can be purchased online now at that price).
