Here are this year's limited edition summer fragrances from Jean Paul Gaultier, due for launch in April.
The designs for the Le Classique (100 ml, alcohol-free) and Le Mâle (125 ml) bottles are inspired by a print used in Gaultier's fashion collection. (via cosmoty.de)
You can see last year's versions, decorated with paper kites, here. Other recent launches from Jean Paul Gaultier: Fleur du Male.
Guerlain will launch a fifth fragrance in the L'Art et la Matière range, which already includes Cuir Beluga, Rose Barbare, Angelique Noire and Bois d'Armenie. Iris Ganache is from perfumer Thierry Wasser, and...
...reveals an iris butter ‘worked like a pastry ganache’. A mouthwatering scent, like ‘white chocolate shaded with floral notes’ and enhanced with cinnamon, bergamot, patchouli, white musks, cedar and a slightly ambery vanilla note.
Look for it in June. (via osmoz) Other 2007 releases from Guerlain: Vetiver Extreme, Aqua Allegoria Angelique Lilas & Mandarine Basilic.
Update: see a review of Guerlain Iris Ganache.
Iris Ganache…I can't wait to test it!
Hugs!
moi aussi *drools*
I know I'm odd man out, but I really have loved the L'Art de Matiere scents so far. However, even though I adore iris, I've got serious doubts about the white chocolate and white musk in this one. But my fingers, toes, etc. are crossed.
I am trying to remain hopeful, but sort of agree with Elle below…those notes are iffy!
Keeping my fingers crossed too…sounds like it might be something much sweeter than I like!
I agree, my thoughts were 'eww..', in the same way it would be if someone put a meringue filled with crème pâtissière in front of me. It sounds too sweet!
Ugh! I too feel nauseous just thinking about it.
We shall have to hope that it isn't overdone. I did find Angelique Noire too sweet though.
