Holiday fragrance gifts 2006, part 5

Posted by Robin on 1 December 2006 6 Comments

Still shopping for holiday gifts? I wish I could say I am finished, but no such luck — I haven't even started. Too busy trying to get my hands on a Nintendo Wii. Anyway, here are a few more suggestions if you're looking for scented gifts. See also: Holiday fragrance gifts 2006 part 1, part 2, part 3 and part 4.

At kiehls, the Coriander Collection, with Body Cleanser, Cleansing Bar, Hand and Body Lotion, Lip Balm #1, Extra-Strength Conditioning Rinse and Olive Fruit Oil Shampoo. $48.

At beautycafe, Ciao Bella Lavender + Spearmint Sea Salt Scrub, $26.

At elizabethw, Scented Drawer Liners made from linen and silk, available in rose, lavender or cedar. $32.

At thebodyshop, Invent Your Scent, a kit with nine 3 ml vials of Eau de Toilette (lime, orange, geranium, coriander, mint, watermelon, sandalwood, vetiver and tonka bean) to mix 'n match. $30.

At bathandbodyworks, the Elton John Fireside candle with rich vanilla bean, smoked cedarwood, sweet Chinese star anise and spicy coriander. $16.50.

At perfume.com, a Bvlgari Black gift set with Eau de Toilette and matching soap. $38.98.

At redenvelope, an Almond Gift set with body lotion, bath bar and candle in a lidded tin. $30.

The stocking stuffer, from hamptonct: Vanilla Sugar Lip Gloss by Archipelago Botanicals. $8.25.

Hmmm… sounds like old Elton is taking a page from John Galliano.

I wonder if Christophe Laudamiel is behind this Elton candle, too? I need to remember to visit BBW every once in a while – I always seem to forget about them, for some reason.

Yes, it does! And wish JG would go ahead and release his candle in a personal fragrance already…

Some of the BBW stores near me are still in the “old style”, but the newer ones are really rather amazing in terms of what they carry. And Bigelow opened a boutique in the mall near me now — with L'Artisan, CdG, all sorts of amazing niche stuff. The term “niche” is actually getting sort of meaningless…

Wow, that sounds wonderful… wish I had a Bigelow now!

Have a feeling you'll get one eventually. Bigelows looks like they are on expansion mode.
