Holiday fragrance gifts 2006, part 1

Posted by Robin on 22 November 2006 15 Comments

Well, here we are again, very nearly at the start of the mad holiday rush, although it doesn't officially start until Friday. Are you ready? For anyone else trying to avoid entering an actual brick and mortar store between now and January, here are some ideas for fragrance gifts you can find online:

From Aedes, the Agraria Nob Hill Petit Essence set, with 4 miniature fragrance diffusers in Bitter Orange, Lemon Verbena, Lavender & Rosemary and Balsam. $125.

At Home101store, a three monkeys soap set by Gianna Rose Atelier. Actually, I don't know if these are scented or not, but they were too cute to resist. $18.

At Bigelow Chemists, the Whole Lotta Lemons gift box with Lemon Cream Body Wash, Lemon Hand Treatment, Lemon Body Cream and Lemon Body Scrub. $22.50.

At Lusciouscargo, Robert Piguet's Fracas in a solid perfume compact. What I want this year, in case anyone is listening. 2 gr, $65.

At Neiman Marcus, an Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien set with Eau de Toilette Spray, Body Lotion and Shower Gel. $79.

At b-glowing, a travel case with LaLicious Body Sugar Souffle and Body Butter in Brown Sugar. $50.

At Gloss, the Estee Lauder Pleasures Pen Pals, perfume pens in Pleasures, Pleasures Intense and Pleasures Exotic. $39.50

At Sephora, the Fragrance Gift Certificate For Him with 8 samples plus a gift voucher to redeem for a full sized bottle (Azzaro Chrome, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme, Prada Pour Homme, Z Zegna, Ferragamo Subtil Pour Homme, Givenchy Very Irresistible Men, and Sean John Unforgivable). $50.

At Crabtree & Evelyn, the stocking stuffer: Lavender Soap Leaves. $4.

More to follow on Friday, have a great Thanksgiving!

I'd love that Agraria set! *sigh* And what bigelowchemists should do, is the Whole Lotta Leather gift box :-)

Just wishing you a happy Thanksgiving, R. I hope the day is just wonderful, and that you and yours stuff your bellies full of all that good Turkey Day stuff :)
(And good luck on black Friday if you happen to be venturing out into the throngs and lines for sales, too!)

That is a beautifully packaged set, isn't it?

And you know I'd rather have the lemons :-)

We did pumpkin flan, and it was perfect — and already gone, sorry!

I second the Fracas solid perfume wish Robin. Now who would send to NZ?

There is a store on Amazon that will, but they charge an arm & a leg for the service. Maybe try emailing Piguet to ask:

Thanks ver much Robin, I have just emailed Piquet. I had discovered the store on Amazon, good price for the perfume but extremely expensive postal rates for us.

Just reporting back that I have had no reply to date. Their loss.

Oh, that is a shame! I don't know why companies don't answer simple emails, even if the answer is just “I can't help you”.

Thoroughly agree Robin. I may have looked “small-time”, but how can they know for sure? Oh well, maybe I will smell it someday. If it's on your wish list then it must be to my liking, we seem to like the same I have noticed. Could not do with without my daily nowsmellthis.com :^) Thanks for all.
