Michael Kors Island Hawaii, Solange Azagury-Partridge Stoned ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 3 November 2006 6 Comments

Michael Kors Island Hawaii

Michael Kors will launch Island Hawaii, the second fragrance follow-up to 2005's Island (see also Island Fiji), this coming February. Island Hawaii features...

...top notes of clementine, juicy orange, hydroponic pineapple and neroli; a heart of orange flower, jasmine sambac and Hawaiian ginger lily, and a drydown of white amber, creamy sandalwood and balsamic notes.

Michael Kors Island Hawaii is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum and in Lip Balm.

Solange Stoned perfume

UK jeweller Solange Azagury-Partridge has launched her first fragrance, Stoned:

Lynn Harris, the nose behind the Miller Harris collection, worked with the jewelry designer on a "modern oriental" scent, the notes of which include Italian bergamot, classic rose, jasmine absolute, labdanum, tree moss, musk and vanilla bourbon.

Look for it at Space NK by mid-month. (both above via Women's Wear Daily) Solange Stoned is an Eau de Parfum, and is available in the 100 ml bottle as shown.

Poor Michael Kors. So starved for some R&R on an exotic island, somewhere far away from the cut-throat world of fashion and Project Runway 🙂 I think he should go on a long, long holiday and finally get those Islands scents out of his system!

HA — Island Fiji apparently sold like gangbusters, LOL…he can go ahead and buy an island, probably 🙂

    LOL —

I assume it is to tie in with her jewelry collection, in a humorous way — but I don't know her work at all. The article says she did a collection for H&M last year, but it sounds like most of what she does is very high end.
