Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile: new in Eau de Parfum

Posted by Robin on 19 July 2006 4 Comments

Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile fragranceSenteurs d'Ailleurs in Brussels now has Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile in a new Eau de Parfum concentration:

This new version is even more sensual and enveloping as the iris flower travels through the whole olfactory pyramid leaving a vibrant and velvety trace that lingers for hours. A chypre blend, this interpretation is intensely feminine, mysterious and timeless, thanks to the rich bouquet of flowers at its heart.

I don't know when this will hit the US, but I'll be looking for it. Please comment if you've tried it! Update: see a review of Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile Eau de Parfum.

I'd like to try this too. I have the EDT, but it's a little too sharp for me. I think it's the mandarine? Anyhow, it seems to lack that velvety drape of a good iris, or at least what I associate with good iris scents (e.g., SL Iris Silver Mist, TDC Bois d'Iris).

You are quite right that it is a bit sharp, but personally I love it that way. All the same, very curious about this new version too, and wouldn't mind a bit of that “velvety drape” 🙂
