CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) will hold their annual Beauty Awards on May 5. The finalists for this year's awards in fragrance are:
Fragrances for women:
Bond no. 9 Chinatown
Estée Lauder Youth Dew Amber Nude
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb
Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely
Michael Kors Island
Fragrances for men:
Carolina Herrera Aqua
DKNY Fragrances Be Delicious Men
Giorgio Armani Armani Code
Ralph Lauren Polo Black
Zirh Corduroy
Last year's winners were Tommy Hilfiger True Star for women and Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise for men.
Let's hope Chinatown wins something finally, besides just a thumbs up for it's packaging. I mean, the packaging is fine, it's just that the juice is so much better, you know?
It's interesting the Corduroy is there. I lost all intrest in it because the reviews that came in about it were only lukewarm at best. Still, this is a smaller though nicer line-up than some of those that made the Fifi list.
Well, at least it won't be Euphoria again!
The Corduroy did not impress me, but it has been awhile since I've tried it & can't remember why. Like the bottle though…
Nice to see that Lovely won an award. I think that if this weren't a “celebrity” fragrance it would probably get more attention from serious fragrance collectors. Just my humble opinion. 🙂
I thought it was received pretty well on the fragrance boards, despite being a “celebrity fragrance” — although of course, SJP herself is not so widely disparaged as some of her competitors in the celebrity fragrance field.
