Le Labo launches website

Posted by Robin on 14 April 2006 13 Comments

Check out the new Le Labo website, which is beautifully designed (why do so many perfume houses have dull websites?) and includes full descriptions of all the fragrances in the line. They will be adding a shopping cart some time in May; in the meantime, they are accepting phone orders, and they now have a discovery set of 3 fragrances in glass sample sprays.

My favorites are Rose 31, Bergamote 22 and Patchouli 24; I also like the Vetiver 46 and will try to review that next week.

That is a nice website. I wish Aedes would update theirs. Time for a new look.

L, now I'm going to whine: I want a new look too! It is darned hard to find web designers who will work for peanuts, unfortunately.

Very impressed with what Le Labo did with their site, at any rate.

Thank you for that news, R! Just yesterday I was thinking, “Hm, I hope they'll have a website for us to browse.”

Great website, but find my request for the Discovery Set has been returned to me! They need to look at their email contact. Find it incredible that I have been “blacklisted”. First time on the site. Anyone else been unable to contact them?

HelenAnn, I have had no problems with the email contact at all.

It really is a fabulous website, I drooled over it the first day it was up and running.

R, the Iris is to die for. I will be posting my review of it on you know where when I have had another sniffing session with it.

Thanks Robin, I will try again. Yes, I think you know I love Iris too, so certainly will try. Hermes and The Different Co have my favourite Iris fragances so far.

It worked! – as I typed in the email address instead of using it direct from the site. Will see if they post overseas..

B, comically enough, I love the Patchouli fragrance but can't take the heavy patchouli in the Iris…not my cup of tea!

Glad it worked! They are still new & guess they have a few wrinkles to work out.

    Sorry to jump in again.

HelenAnn, it's Barry here (didn't want to confuse you again).

They do ship overseas but owing to airline regulations since 9/11, they can't send the scents via airmail. They have to send them by boat which can take well over a month.

Glad your email went through this time.

Robin, that's really strange about the Iris and the Patchouli.

B, thanks again. A month? Well all good things come to those who wait….I have the patience – just!
