O Mother Of All Things Holy! I bet everyone heard the THUD as I hit the floor!

I can't even imagine how gorgeous this bottle is going to be. And probably by the time it's available, I will have used up my first bottle.

My wallet is screaming right now!

I love that picture R. I think Bond has the best packaging EVER for samples and that Bon Bon Box puts me right over the edge. I am saved because I don't particularly like many of the fragrances except for Nuits de Noho. That said – Laurice is brilliant when it comes to her marketing and packaging. I am sure some Bond afficianados are going to be thrilled with the limited edition Chinatown. Thanks for the update.

I agree, F, Bond knows packaging and I wanted that box immediately! 6 ml travel sprays are perfect, and refillable is even better.

Oh my dear lord the Bon Bon box is just about the cutest thing *ever* and though I can stand no Bond No. 9 fragrances besides my beloved New Haarlem, I am still very, verrry tempted by it 🙂

I'm curious to see what the special edition Chinatown bottle will look like — its beautiful enough on its own, I'm not sure studding it with crystals was the best choice there.

BTW, have you seen a picture of the Bleaker Street bottle yet? I'm especially curious to know what *that* looks like — V's description in her blog piqued my curiosity, but I haven't been able to locate the latest issue of W magazine anywhere….

A, isn't it cute? I haven't yet seen the new Chinatown so can't say. The Bleecker St bottle is stunning and I wish I had a picture to post. It is a green & purple starburst pattern, much less girly than Chinatown, with the Bond logo in the middle done in purple in gold.

Oh that set – it really is adorable. I wish more companies would offer box of chocolate style mini sets of their ranges. Although, the $230 price tag is not one I'll be looking to afford anytime in the near future, heh.

K, I wish the same. I love the Frederic Malle tester kit too, and these kinds of sets are great for swapping if you don't like every single fragrance included.

This is one expensive tester kit!

I recently got a Bond sample, which came in the candy wrapper. I was very taken with the package, but of course as soon as it was unwrapped it could never be resealed. The wrapper just drifts aroubd the bottom of my sample box…

    148ml for $230? Hmmm….

N, It is expensive, and not the most economical way to get the scents, so you would have to be taken with the packaging. I am a freak — I do carefully unwrap and then reseal my Bond samples — but you are right that you wouldn't be likely to do that over & over with a box of travel sprays. Despite that, I took one look at the box and wanted it!

I do appreciate that Bond sells by the ounce in the stores, and I am told (though I haven't verified it) that you can even bring in your own bottles, and then it is around $45 an ounce.
