New & upcoming fragrances: Guerlain, Puma

Posted by Robin on 18 July 2005 4 Comments

Guerlain is celebrating the anniversary of L'Instant with two new editions. For men, L’Instant de Guerlain pour Homme Eau Extrême:

It features a reworked juice, which delivers added sensuality, according to Guerlain. Key ingredients include neroli essence, patchouli, star anise and hibiscus.

For women, a new bottle for the 15 ml parfum (same juice), shown above. No word on whether these are limited editions.

Puma has released a set of fragrances aimed at 14-25 year olds:

The Puma Woman juice opens on notes of pink grapefruit, juniper berries and green apples, leading to a heart of jasmine, honeysuckle and red peony. The base features musk, cedar, Tonka bean and vanilla.

Puma Man comprises fresh top notes of Japanese orange and tagete; a heart of watermelon and pineapple; and a dry-down of moss and amber.

These are available now in Germany and will go into wider distribution in September. (via moodiereport)

Oh, Eau Extrême sounds great. I already like L'Instant pour Homme (more than the one for women), but this seems to be interesting as well. Of course, I love star anise, and it is not surprising that my curiousity is sparked.

eep – I do hope this Eau Extreme isn't replacing the regular L'Instant pour Homme.

Based on a scent strip, would agree that the men's version is better than the women's. Need to try it on skin one of these days. I love star anise too but will have to see how much patchouli…

No, that doesn't appear to be the case.
