Clive Christian Baccarat edition & other perfume news

Posted by Robin on 13 July 2005 2 Comments

Have any extra cash lying around? Clive Christian has released a limited edition bottle of his no. 1 scent:

But the limited edition is no ordinary fragrance: It's bottled in custom-designed Baccarat crystal flacons, which feature 18-karat gold necks inset with five-carat diamonds.

10 bottles were produced, two have been sold so far. The price? $250,000. (via Women's Wear Daily)

Thank you to Sara for passing on the news, reported in InStyle magazine, that Miller Harris plans to open a boutique in Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. The boutique will reportedly include the Nouvelle Edition line, previously available only in the London Miller Harris store. I really like the Jasmine Vert, and will write a review of that soon.

Wondering what the top selling scents for Father's Day were? See this article in Perfumer & Flavorist (link no longer working, sorry).

As I probably can't make it to London this year, that's great news about Miller Harris. Besides Jasmine Vert, I'm curious about Geranium Bourbon and Cuir d'Oranger. I always like to spritz on her Citron Citron when I'm at Tak.

The Clive Christian bottle sounds like something you would find on the Trumps' vanity table.

The InStyle article apparently mentioned Terre d'Iris, which sounds lovely. I also read recently that she has a new one in the line called Vetiver Bourbon, but it isn't on her website yet.
