Ralph Lauren Polo Black fragrance for menRalph Lauren will launch Polo Black, a new men's fragrance, in September:

The juice, created by Ellen Molner and Pierre Negrin of Givaudan, features top notes of iced mango, Spanish sage, and green effervescent accord; middle notes of silver armoise, lush liquid accord and hedione, and bottom notes of patchouli noir, sandalwood, timberol and tonka bean.

Lush liquid accord? (via Women's Wear Daily) Additional notes include aldehydes, tangerine, lemon, water fruits and calone. Ralph Lauren Polo Black is an Eau de Toilette, and is also available in matching grooming products. (via osmoz)

And the long-rumored set of limited edition bottles from Serge Lutens is expected to launch in May. The bottles will feature a Domino motif, and will be available in Douce Amere, Fleurs de Citronnier, and Fleurs d'Oranger. (via Parfum: Les Nouveautes)

Do you know if the LE Serge bottles will be available at the usual places, i.e Aedes, Barneys, etc?

If they are like the ones pictures on the Palais Royale website (with the gold scroll motif)…wow!…I think those are really beautiful.

V, I really don't know. If I remember correctly, the last limited edition bottles (the snowflake ones, I think, that you could also get monogrammed) were only available in Paris.

lushness of what liquid? I think some rhapsodic copywriter lost their train of adjectival thought on that one.

My suspicion is they mean “marine” or “aquatic” and just went a little overboard (apologies for the really bad pun). Either that, or they just mean they added some water, and you will have to pay extra for it.
