TJ Maxx report: J Lo Glow & more

Posted by Robin on 3 April 2005 2 Comments

At my local TJ Maxx this week: J Lo Glow, Diesel Green, Diesel Zero Plus Masculine & Feminine, Guerlain Samsara EdT, Yves Saint Laurent Nu, Carolina Herrera Carolina, Anna Sui Dolly Girl, Paula Dorf Zita, and Gres Cabaret. Also a few Imaginez candles. I was tempted by the pretty Zita bottle, but left with nothing.

No! You have to try Zita – I think overall it may well prove to be my own personal second favorite rose scent (Sirene is first in my heart). It's just luscious. It smells like a dozen long stemmed roses from the florist (as opposed to the garden grown rose scent I find in L'Occitane's 4 Reines, my third favorite.) You'll have to try it some time – I'd send you a sample, but I have no decanting supplies!

Just to add to your list, the TJ Maxx in Portland on 82nd had the following that I can recall: Fendi gift sets, Alfred Sung Shi, E. Coudray bath oil and edt in Vanille Canelle, a variety of Elizabeth Arden stuff, Escada Magnetism lotion on clearance, Guerlain Habit Rouge, stacks and stacks of Elizabeth Taylor's stuff, Burberry Brit, a shelf full of Shalimar edt and cologne, and a small endcap with d'Olives bath and skin care stuff.

OK, just went to read the reviews on makeupalley, and maybe I made a mistake. Now, of course, it will be gone when I go back!

Habit Rouge is a great scent (wish I could get my husband to like it) and I'm looking forward to trying the Eau Legere version.
