Liz by Liz Claiborne perfumeDunhill Fresh fragrance for men

The latest Liz Claiborne fragrance, Liz, is now in stores:

The scent, by Jean-Marc Chaillan, Pascal Gaurin and Laurent Le Guernec of International Flavors and Fragrances, has top notes of frosted mandarin, crisp pear, melon and yellow mimosa; a heart of wild purple hyacinth, East Hampton honeysuckle, magnolia and pink peony, and a drydown of pink peppercorns, heliotrope, amber, sandalwood and vanilla.

Liz by Liz Claiborne is an Eau de Parfum and is available in 50 and 100 ml and in matching body products. (quote via Women's Wear Daily, additional information via happi)

Dunhill has launched Dunhill Fresh, a new scent for men:

Its juice, created by Symrise’s Maurice Roucel, features top notes of basil, freesia and green. Violet, aquatic floral and iris notes are at its heart, while cedar, a woody leather accord, amber, coumarin and patchouli notes make up its drydown.

Dunhill Fresh is an Eau de Toilette and is sold in 50 and 100 ml and in matching grooming products..

And Escada will launch their latest, Escada, on May 1. Escada was created by nose Pierre Bourdon, with...

top notes of bergamot, black currant, leafy greens, cucumber, Italian lemon, sea breeze accord, freesia and honeydew; middle notes of magnolia, jasmine, muguet, rose, orange blossom and peony, and bottom notes of amber, musk, nectarine, vanilla, orris, patchouli and sandalwood.

Update: see a review of Escada by Escada. (both above via Women's Wear Daily)

The new Escada has all the notes I love! Sounds intriguing.

Have to admit that I have so far not found an Escada to love, and I am a little worried by the “sea breeze accord” — I don't always like fresh/ozonic fragrances. Certainly worth a try though!

There are so many notes in there I think the sea breeze accord will only add a cooling freshness to the composition.

    You don't love Collection?

I have to admit that I do not love Collection. It was too sweet for me. I know it has tons of fans though!

I smelled the new Escada the other day and I have to admit….not what I thought it would be. That's a good thing, however, because it was light, and fresh, but not in the alcohol smelling ugly fresh way. One word…pretty….melon….spring….I'm surprized it wasn't launched pre-spring. Anyway, I'm always an Escada fan.

It is very fresh, and agree that they got it out rather late in the “fresh” season, at least in the United States. Guessing it will sell anyway!
