Dior Me, Dior Me Not, the latest limited edition from uh, Dior, is now available in Sephora stores in the U.S., and is to debut in Harrods on St. Valentine's Day. The fragrance features sweet pea, peony, and musk. I sprayed some on a test strip at Sephora, but it did not make a strong impression on me — in fact, I can't remember if I liked it. Not a good sign, but perhaps I'll try it again.
This month, Comme des Garcons will release a limited edition of their scent Comme des Garcons 2, called Love Hurts. It is in what appears to be a heart shaped bottle covered with some sort of silver fabric. CdG has also released Series 7 (sweet): Sticky Cake, Nomad Tea, Burnt Sugar, Spicy Cocoa, Wood Coffee. I was mildly excited about Nomad Tea, but early reports are that it is an extremely sweet mint tea scent. These scents are currently available at the CdG boutique in NY.
The Different Company has released Jasmin de Nuit, the first fragrance by Céline Ellena, daughter of Hermès in-house nose Jean Claude Ellena. No word on when this fragrance will be available in the United States; in the meantime, it can be ordered directly from TDC through their website, although until it is added to the online ordering form, you'll have to send them an email to purchase. The fragrance notes include jasmine, star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, sandalwood, and amber. Update: see a review of Jasmin de Nuit.
First!
Sorry for that. I couldn’t resist having the first comment on nstperfume.com. This is the first post right?
Yes…the comments that day were all on the next two posts. But not sure that can count you as the real first comment, LOL!
